Full Moon Medicines 🌝

In Ayurveda, November marks Vata season ~ cool, dry, and airy so it’s a time to invite warmth, grounding, hydration and replenishment. The Full Moon is a time of fullness, heightened energy, and illumination. Just as the moon pulls the ocean’s tides, it draws the vital juices upward in plants, making this phase ideal for creating medicine rich in prana (life force) and potency. Medicines prepared under its light are said to carry the moon’s nourishing qualities ~ supporting rejuvenation, and emotional balance.

What I made ~

🌼Medicated Ghee for the Female Reproductive System — to ground and replenish the womb space and balance hormones.

🌼Mind Tonic Ghee — to calm the nervous system and bring steadiness to the mind.

🌼Liver & Blood Cleansing Ghee — supporting gentle detoxification and renewal while keeping the body nourished.

🌼Mind Tonic Capsules — daily support for clarity, focus, memory and inner calm.
🌼Ashwagandha Capsules — a vital ally for strength, grounding, and resilience.

🌼Ojas Powder — a rejuvenating blend of Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Munuca, Vidari, shankapuahpi , Ginger, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Collagen, Vanilla, and Stevia — crafted to build vitality, radiance, and resilience.

To enjoy the Ojas Powder, try blending 1–2 teaspoons into a cup of warm milk (or your favorite plant milk). Add a touch of ghee if you wish for extra nourishment. Sip slowly, especially in the evening, to soothe the nervous system and build ojas ~ the essence of vitality, radiance, and immunity🪔

Send me a DM if you’d like to buy any of the above 💛

…:Hridaya:..
Ayurveda and yoga, emphasize the significance of the heart as a center for physical and spiritual well-being, highlighting concepts like forgiveness and the interconnectedness of the heart with the rest of the body and mind.

- Both the Hawaiian and Indian wisdom traditions view the heart as more than just a physical organ, but as a spiritual center that connects us to the Divine.

- In Indian wisdom traditions, the Sanskrit word hridaya (hri - to give , da - to take, and ya from yam - balance ) refers to the spiritual heart, which is believed to be the center for giving and taking in perfect balance. It is seen as the seat of the spirit and the connection to the Universal Consciousness.
- Similarly, in Hawaiian culture, they call the heart Puuwai (Pu - Swelling , and Wai-liquid) represents the heart as a sacred space where water, symbolizing life force and emotions, resides. It is seen as the source of life, courage, love and spiritual energy.
- Both traditions emphasize the importance of cultivating a deep connection with the heart, as it is through this connection that individuals can tap into their divine nature and experience profound love, compassion, and spiritual growth.

In my own study I see that the physical heart and the spiritual heart are interconnected in their functions and symbolism. The physical heart is responsible for pumping oxygen and nutrients throughout the body, ensuring the well-being and vitality of all organs and systems. Similarly, the spiritual heart, is seen as the center for giving and taking on a spiritual level. The analogy of the physical heart's functions helps us understand the role of the spiritual heart. Just as the physical heart nourishes the body by distributing oxygen and nutrients, the spiritual heart nourishes the soul by radiating love, and positive spiritual energy. By cultivating a deep connection with the spiritual heart, individuals can experience a sense of balance and harmony in their lives, as well as a profound connection with others and the world around them.It is through connecting with the spiritual heart that one can overcome attachment to individual emotions and the individual soul, realizing our heart connection with the Universal Consciousness.

In essence, the physical heart and the spiritual heart work hand in hand to support overall well-being and spiritual growth. The physical heart ensures the circulation of vital energy throughout the body, while the spiritual heart serves as a guiding force, allowing individuals to tap into the infinite source of love and wisdom within themselves. By recognizing the interconnectedness of these two aspects of the heart, individuals can embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and transformation.

How do we care for the Heart?

1. Meditation: Regular meditation practice helps quiet the mind, cultivate inner stillness, and connect with the essence of the spiritual heart. It allows individuals to tap into their inner wisdom and experience a sense of peace and harmony.
2. Yoga: The practice of yoga combines physical postures (asanas), breath work (pranayama), and meditation to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Yoga helps to balance the energy centers in the body, including the heart center, and promotes a sense of unity and harmony.
3. Conscious living: Living consciously involves being aware of one's thoughts, actions, and choices in everyday life. It means aligning one's lifestyle with values of compassion, kindness, and integrity. By making conscious choices that support the well-being of oneself and others, individuals nurture and expand their spiritual heart.
4. Cultivating positive emotions: Fostering positive emotions such as love, gratitude, compassion, and joy can have a profound impact on the health and vitality of the spiritual heart and Physical heart. Engaging in activities that bring about these feelings, practicing gratitude, and expressing love and kindness towards oneself and others nourish the spiritual heart.
5. Connection with nature: Spending time in nature can be a powerful way to connect with the spiritual heart. The beauty and serenity of natural surroundings can evoke a sense of awe and wonder, helping individuals tap into their innate connection with the larger web of life.
6. Self-care practices: Taking care of oneself on all levels - physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually - is essential for the well-being of the spiritual heart. This may include practices such as healthy eating, regular exercise, adequate rest, nurturing relationships, and engaging in activities that bring joy and fulfillment.
7. Cultivating loving relationships: Building and nurturing loving relationships with oneself and others is an integral part of caring for the spiritual heart. Creating a supportive and compassionate network of connections can provide a sense of belonging, love, and emotional nourishment.

“ When all the knots of the Heart are untied then the Mortal becomes immortal”
