Rolling Green Village's HR Director Emily and Activity Director Heather participated in the Nevada High School Career Fair this past Wednesday. It was a great opportunity for the 9-12th grade students to see what career opportunities RGV and the healthcare industry have to offer. RGV staff had a great time interacting with the students as the team handed out snacks. Those students that participated were able to sign up for a free giveaway.

Thank you to the Story County Animal Shelter for allowing the leadership team of Rolling Green Village and Indian Creek Independent and Assisted Living come and volunteer. We had a great time cleaning out the cat area, putting carriers together and sorting through stacks of donated newspapers. They have a lot of kittens and cats needing homes. Tom Hofer performed for our residents which they really enjoyed and the variety of songs he played were a hit! Welcome to the Indian Creek Cafe! We have finished another book from our book club series. The book we finished up was "The Nookwoman's Daughter." In this book they feasted on; ham steak, fried potatoes and onions, biscuits and apple crisp. The tenants in AL enjoyed this same feast prepared by the leadership team.
