I wanted to let folks know that we are hiring at the chiropractic office, this time for a full time (30+ hours per week) position. Duties will include a little bit of everything from answering the phone, completing paperwork, data entry, some accounting and even some light cleaning. Our new team member must be able to excel at details, be able to type, follow directions and enjoy good 'people skills'. We are willing to train on the job; if you have no experience then starting pay will be minimum wage with the opportunity to increase your pay as you become experienced and require little supervision from us. If you do have experience, and require only a little training, then starting pay may be negotiable.

It has sure been a week for this. Just a reminder for those injured backs out there: DO NOT PUT HEAT on your swollen back for the first 48 hours after your injury. USE ICE!

And when you do use ICE, only use it for 10-15 minutes at a time. (Ice has been shown to actually CAUSE swelling ("Hunter's Reflex") if you leave it applied longer than 20 minutes).

We want to let you know that we are now in the office seeing patients Monday through Friday.

Our expected hours are:

Monday: 8:30 - 12:15 and 1:30 to 4:00
Tuesday: 10:30 to 12:15 and 1:30 to 3:30
Wednesday: 8:30 to 12:15 and 1:30 to 5:00
Thursday: 10:30 to 12:15 and 1:30 to 3:30
Friday: 8:00 to 11:00
Closed Saturday and Sunday

We are here in the office on Monday and Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. Thank you for your patience!

Our tentative return date is set for Thursday May 1, 2025. Office hours will be limited to part time initially. We will be answering the phone intermittently between now and then so keep trying if you call us and we are not there.

Again - THANK YOU to everyone for your prayers and patience as we have gone through these last several months. A huge thank you to Dr. Linsenmeyer for covering for us during my medical leave of absence.

UPDATE: While I am improving each week in function and strength, my ability to adjust people is on hold for at least another month. My PT continues for that month. Will post updates as I know them. I so apologize for the inconvenience through all of this. Thanks everyone for your continued prayers and patience.

Update: progressing with PT as expected. Follow up appointment is 02/18/2025. Will know more about a return to practice date after that. Thanks again for all of the prayers, cards, well wishes and calls!!

Update: Thank you to everyone who has prayed for Tammy and I. Hip replacement surgery went well yesterday. Pain mild at this point but have two PT visits yet today and drain tube to be removed. If all goes well they tell me I should be released later this evening.

Due to my hip replacement surgery on 12/30/2024, our chiropractic practice will be closed until further notice. (2-3 months?)

Healing Kneads massage therapy however will be open and taking appointments at the office (1804 N Ash, Nevada). If you need massage therapy, you can schedule an appointment with Kortney Post at (417) 448-4158.

Dr. Neil Linsenmayer of El Dorado Springs, MO has agreed to cover the chiropractic practice during my medical leave. You can reach him at 417-876-0541.

I will keep updates posted on our page as to when I might return to practice.
