Integro Facilitating health and wellness through stress management and emotional self-regulation

Dr. Sandra Solano was born in Bogota, Colombia, where she received her M.D. Sandra came to Ohio to pursue post-graduate studies in Preventive Medicine and Public Health. She began at the Ohio State University as a research assistant and then served as Director of Clinical Quality at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Sandra then worked with the Ohio Department of Health as the Director of Health Statistics, State Registrar, and the Ohio Department of Job and Human Services as Director of Research, Assistant Director of Medicaid, and Health Policy Advisor. Finally, she served as Principal for McGuire & Associates, providing project technical assistance and evaluation services for preventive programs in rural Appalachia. While she enjoyed a successful and fulfilling career in public health, she continued studying alternative health modalities and how they could improve wellness. Sandra gained knowledge and training in HeartMath©, Sound Therapy, essential oils, Reiki, and other modalities through her studies. Sandra is a certified master trainer of HeartMath’s Resilience Advantage™ program; certified practitioner Shuniya Tibetan Bowl Sound Healing©; and a Reiki Master. After personally experiencing and practicing these tools, Sandra transformed her burnt-out feelings of isolation into a sense of being connected with her authentic self, hope, and peace that she wants to share with others. Learning about and experiencing these techniques brought her a new understanding of health as a state of balance and wholeness. Sandra sees every person as a fundamentally perfect being and the techniques to facilitate the restoration of balance and centeredness. Sandra currently sees clients in New Albany, Ohio, at the InStill Wellness Center (5031 Forest Drive, Suite A) and holds virtual classes and events worldwide.

Transform Concern Into Powerful Support

In times of global challenge, your heart has the power to create real change.

This isn't just a practice - it's a bridge of human connection. Using scientifically-backed HeartMath techniques, you will:
- Generate genuine, transformative compassion
- Create a field of healing energy
- Support Ukrainian resilience through focused intention
- Experience personal emotional healing

The HeartMath® system is a set of evidence-based emotional self-regulation skills and tools that connect you with the power of your heart. All our emotions are important and useful to show us what we care about in life, but sometimes we get stuck in ones like shame, worry, anxiety, anger, or fear. By focusing on our heart, slowing down our breathing, and recalling or reliving regenerative emotions such as appreciation and care, with practice, we can learn to shift out of the draining emotions and experience more renewing ones. If you struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, or want more joy in your life, learning HeartMath® coherence tools and techniques could be helpful on your journey. No experience is needed.

A collaborative initiative by Wellbeing Connection and The Fyera Foundation, united in compassion. The Fyera Foundation empowers individuals, organizations, and nations to beat stress by creating mental, emotional, physical, and team coherence. This leads to an experience of peace and fulfillment, with measurable improvements to health, performance, profitability, and quality of life. Learn more at fyera.org.

After speaking to thousands of women leaders in Austin and Philadelphia, I attended a fantastic retreat in California that, among many other insights, made it even more clear to me that all of our emotions and feelings have critical information and that when we want to control or suppress them, we are missing the information contained in them. Stress is one of those experiences we all want less in our lives, yet we can change the experience of stress by discovering the information behind it and using it as fuel for action. The title of this presentation was chosen months ago and now has even more significance and importance for me. Please join me in a hands-on and personal exploration of listening to the information in your stress and transforming it into an ally.

In the realm of medicine, a traditional adage cautions against attempting to heal oneself, yet we challenge this notion with a groundbreaking vision. We can care for the healer in us!

We partnered with two visionaries in this endeavor: Helen Yee and Lisa Ferraro. Together, we have crafted a transformative healing experience, providing individuals with the right environment and tools to embark on a profound year-long journey of self-healing and growth. Let me introduce you to these amazing souls:

Helen Yee co-founded the American Institute of Alternative Medicine and is a lifelong martial artist. Helen's expertise encompasses studying and teaching various martial arts systems, along with the ancient Chinese practices of Tai Chi and Chigong, designed to strengthen energy and vitality. Her commitment extends to Acupuncturists, Martial artists, and those exploring holistic and alternative health approaches.

Another key collaborator in this transformative venture is Lisa Ferraro, a modern-day Mystic celebrated for her three-decade-long commitment to service. As an enlightened author, speaker, spiritual teacher, and retreat producer, Lisa seamlessly integrates creativity and inspiration into international retreats. With a masterful touch in orchestrating sound, light, energy, and consciousness, Lisa's approach is both engaging and heart-opening. Renowned as a world-class singer/songwriter charting on the Billboard Jazz chart, Lisa brings her extensive experience and talent to awaken humanity through a consciousness of love and oneness, fostering the creation of a conscious global community. As a first-rate personal growth and empowerment coach, Lisa skillfully weaves soul-inspired wisdom with humor, creating an environment where laughter becomes vital to the transformative journey.

I hope that you gift yourself or someone you care about this amazing experience of nourishing, experiencing peace and joy.

Our Story

Our mission: To Bring Peace and Love to the World One Heart at Time.

We hope to achieve this by facilitating wellness through stress management and emotional self-regulation. This integrative approach to health and wellness helps individuals, teams, and organizations to respond better to the physical, emotional and mental stressors in life.

Dr. Sandra Solano-McGuire founder and CEO of Integro, LLC was born in Bogota, Colombia where she completed her medical studies and became a physician. Dissatisfied with the ‘sick’ model of conventional Western medicine, Sandra came to Ohio to pursue post-graduate studies in Preventive Medicine and Public Health. She began at the Ohio State University as a research assistant, then moved on to serve as Director of Clinical Quality at Ohio State University Hospitals. Sandra then worked with the Ohio Department of Health as the Director of Health Statistics, State Registrar, and with the Ohio Department of Job and Human Services as Director of Research, Assistant Director of Medicaid, and Health Policy Advisor. Finally, she served as Principal for McGuire & Associates providing project technical assistance and evaluation services for preventive programs.

While she enjoyed a successful and fulfilling career in public health, she continued studying alternative health modalities and how they could improve wellness. Through her studies, Sandra gained knowledge and training in mindfulness techniques, essential oils, Reiki and other modalities. After extensive research, Sandra chose four primary techniques to study and practice. Sandra is a certified trainer of HeartMath’s Resilience Advantage™ program; certified practitioner Shuniya Tibetan Bowl Sound Healing©; a practitioner of Holographic Memory Resolution©; and a dōTerra Essential Oils educator. After personally experiencing and practicing these tools, Sandra feels connected with her authentic self and feels a sense of hope and peace that she wants to share with others. Learning about and experiencing these techniques brought her a new understanding of health as a state of balance and wholeness.
