Good morning...with nearly a half foot of snow fall it is safe to say today is a snow day.

Things to remember shoveling and walking in the winter wonderland.

Push snow when possible, walk like a penguin , and take your time.

Shoveling snow is a major cardiovascular work out that sends people to the ER every winter, take breaks ,slow and steady.

(Pro tip : leaf blowers can push alot of snow off cars and walk ways in no time )

Historically, New Albany has a snowfall for Christmas about 15% of the time. Recent examples include 2004 with over 3 inches and 2022 with closer to one inch. This year, the Farmer's Almanac predicts a white Christmas for the eastern side of the Ohio Valley, but not the western.

My apologies for the inconvenience, but we don't want to spread hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) .

Believe you me it is not fun to get as an adult. That said we are managing well and should be good with a bit of rest.
