🔥🌮 Trilogy Culinary Olympics 2026 🌮🔥

We are SO proud of our incredible Smith Mills team who brought heart, flavor, and serious creativity to this year’s Trilogy Culinary Olympics!

Chef Tom and Ketty represented our community beautifully with their Mexican-inspired street taco masterpiece — featuring seared pork loin, vibrant salsa with yellow dragon fruit, fresh chimichurri, seared limes, paprika-dusted citrus, cilantro rice, homemade fresh tortillas, and house-pickled onions. 🌿🍋‍🟩✨❤️

They even finished the dish with a stunning Olympic logo crafted in paprika — a true work of art that was fresh, bright, and absolutely bursting with flavor!

While we didn’t place this year, the competition was fierce with nine talented campuses showcasing their culinary excellence. We are so fortunate to work alongside such gifted chefs across Trilogy — and we couldn’t be prouder of how Chef Tom and Ketty represented Smith Mills with passion and pride.

Our Lifestyle Director Ashley loves to bake — and even more, she loves showing our residents just how much they mean to her.

Recently, she filled the kitchen with the warm, comforting scent of brown sugar and cinnamon as she prepared homemade puff pastries from scratch. The sweet cinnamon aroma slowly drifted down the halls, wrapping the community in a cozy, bakery-fresh embrace. Residents followed the delicious scent into the room, where golden, flaky pastries were waiting — warm from the oven, perfectly crisp on the outside, and soft and buttery on the inside.

The gentle hum of conversation, smiles shared over coffee, and the comforting sweetness in the air made the moment feel extra special. With each bite, you could see the joy on everyone’s faces.

They were such a hit that the tray emptied in no time — next time, we may just need to make a double batch!

We are so grateful for the warmth, heart, and homemade happiness Ashley brings to our community every day. 💛

💚🎉 100 Years Young & 100 Cards Strong! 🎉💚

When sweet Betty shared her birthday wish to receive 100 cards for her 100th birthday on March 17, we knew we had to lean ALL the way in! 💌✨

Our amazing residents jumped at the chance to celebrate this incredible milestone. With bright colors, heartfelt messages, and lots of love, they created the most beautiful birthday cards to send off to Betty in Findlay. 🌈💖

There is something so special about a community coming together to honor 100 wonderful years of life. We hope Betty feels every ounce of joy, warmth, and celebration as she opens each card!

What an elegant evening for our residents! Our Winter Formal Dinner was filled with beautiful music, exceptional cuisine, and unforgettable memories.

The incredibly talented harpist, Olivia Claggett, created the most graceful atmosphere while residents enjoyed a chef-inspired menu featuring braised short rib with Cabernet demi-glace, Yukon mashed potatoes, wilted kale, Dijon-crusted salmon, chocolate mousse with raspberry, and a signature winter cocktail.

An evening of elegance, community, and celebration at its finest. 💙
