Attention UPMC Select Network Patients:

If you purchased your health insurance through the marketplace and have UPMC as your plan, you most likely got a letter and/or phone call stating that we are not a participating pharmacy effective 1/1/2023.

***This does NOT affect UPMC Medicaid, Medicare, or employer provided insurance plans.***

We have been in contact with Express Scripts who negotiates the contracts between the pharmacies and UPMC. We were informed they have no contract to offer us. Our pharmacy, along with many other independent pharmacies in the area are excluded from this network. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to be allowed to participate in this network.

We HIGHLY encourage you to call member services on the back of your insurance card and express your concerns. We need your support to continue to be your local, hometown pharmacy.

***Prior to having your medications transferred to another pharmacy, call or stop in the store to discuss an alternative we can provide to you. We have a store savings program which often times provides you with the same copays or even lower copays than you currently have through your insurance.***
