It means routines built around our athletes — not the other way around.
It means trying something new, in a way that works for you.
It means being supported, celebrated, and included in every single moment.

It means confidence growing… friendships forming… and athletes realizing they belong exactly as they are.

This dance season, those words aren’t just on our shirts — they’re showing up in everything we do ✨

The moment the parents realized they weren’t just watching today… 💜👀

On Saturdays… we dance
And today… we danced together ✨

We surprised our Flurries parents and invited them onto the floor to improv with us — and let’s just say… they understood the assignment 😆

There were laughs, some bold moves (we saw you 👀), and moments that reminded us exactly why this matters.

Because we truly have the best community of families — the kind who don’t just watch from the sidelines, but jump right in and get down and dance with us 💃🕺

Not just learning dances.
Not just getting the steps right.

But showing up, letting loose, and creating memories together.

Because the best part of Saturdays…
is doing it side by side 💜

Fun fact — our volunteers are basically royalty 👑💜

Khloe, Hope, Layla, and Emma have all held local MAO titles (with Hope and Layla currently holding theirs 👑)… but around here, they’re known for something even better.

Through their titles, they have led powerful community service initiatives focused on learning disabilities, Special Olympics, mental health awareness, and navigating special education — and they didn’t leave that behind when the crowns came off. They bring that same energy, heart, and purpose into our program every single week.

They’re hyping athletes up.
Celebrating every win (big and small).
Building confidence in ways that really stick.

And if you’ve seen them in action… you already know — this is what leadership looks like in real life 💜

They embody everything we believe in, not because of a title… but because of how they show up.

We are so grateful for all they’ve done in our community — and even more grateful they choose to be part of Flurries Cheer & Dance 💜

The secret behind everything we’re building? It’s them 💜

With so many new followers and new dancers joining us, we wanted to take a moment to reintroduce the heart behind our programs 💜

Get to know three of the people behind everything we do… ✨

✨ Hannah & Khloe ✨
The mother-daughter duo at the center of Flurries Unified All Stars Cheer & Dance — bringing the hype, the energy, and the excitement to every practice, while making sure every athlete feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

✨ Kerrie ✨
Our cousin — always tuned in and on top of each athlete’s individual needs, making sure everyone is supported in a way that works best for them.
Fun fact: she’s also the program director of our Flutter Unified Athletics 🧡

Behind the scenes, on the sidelines, and right in the middle of the action — these are the people helping create the space our athletes and families get to be part of every week.

Because programs like ours grow because people choose to show up 💜
And these three are a big part of the community we’re building every single day ✨

You might notice something new on our sleeves this dance season 👀💜

And it means a whole lot more than just a logo.

It’s our way of proudly saying thank you to BankNewport Tiverton Branch for their generous contribution towards our shirts this season.

Because of support like this, we’re able to keep doing what matters most—creating a space where every athlete feels seen, supported, and celebrated 💜❄️

This is what community looks like.
This is what inclusion looks like.

And we’re so grateful to have partners like Bank Newport Tiverton standing right alongside us.

Today we danced 💜

Like all of our programs… dance started with a 💡 moment.

A simple thought:
“Okay… what are we doing next?”
Because cheer is ending and we definitely weren’t ready to be done 😆

And somehow, that one little idea turned into 38 dancers signing up—and new and old friends walking through the door this weekend 💜

Every time, we start something new we’re left amazed—
by the generosity of local businesses like Evolution Dance Studio who make it possible for our programs to stay free…
by the volunteers who don’t hesitate to step up…
and by the athletes and families who can’t wait to spend more Saturdays with us.

This is what community looks like.
Showing up.
Believing in something bigger.
Building something together.

And we’re just getting started ❄️💜

This season was bigger than we ever expected 💜❄️
And it showed up in ways we’ll never forget.

From one team… to something even bigger.
From a vision… to something that continues to grow beyond what we imagined 💜❄️

This season, our athletes showed up, stepped out of their comfort zones, and reminded us—week after week—what inclusion really looks like.

✨ We expanded to two teams
✨ We built confidence, friendships, and unforgettable moments
✨ And we proved again… every athlete belongs exactly as they are

We participated in,

💜 SOMA Flag Football Tournament Cheerleading Jamboree
💜 Macy’s Toys for Tots
💜 Southcoast Storm II Showcase
💜 Flutter Unified All Stars Flutter Cup

🎅 Hosted an epic Christmas Party

And performed in

🏆 THREE competitions — all with FREE entry thanks to incredible event producers
🏆 Next Level Nationals at RI Convention Center
🏆 Northeast Challenge at the DCU Center
🏆 Deep South Spirit “Eras Tour” at Foxwoods

Every performance… every sideline… every moment… mattered.

And none of this happens without the people who stand behind us.

Because of our incredible sponsors and partners, we are able to keep our programs completely free for our families—and that is something we never take for granted 💜

💜 Southcoast Storm II — for not only believing in our athletes, but donating gym space and choreography, giving our teams a place to grow, learn, and shine
💜 rebelathletic— who made sure every athlete stepped onto the mat with confidence by providing a free pair of cheer shoes for each athlete
💜 Innovative Performance Productions — who donated our competition music, bringing our routines to life with “No Limits” and “One Team One Heart”—songs that truly captured the spirit of our program
💜 Special Olympics Massachusetts — for supporting our athletes with uniforms, helping ensure they felt like part of something bigger every time they stepped onto the floor

And to Kelsey from K. Garcia Productions for capturing our athletes so beautifully on picture day 📸

This season was about more than routines.
It was about growth.
It was about belonging.
It was about creating a space where every athlete is seen, supported, and celebrated.

This is what it looks like when everyone is celebrated 💜

And if this was Season 2…

Just wait until Season 3 ❄️👀

Because we’re not just growing in numbers—
we’re growing in opportunities, in impact, and in the dreams we’re building for our athletes.

More teams.
More moments.

We had so much fun at the Flutter Cup ❄️

Thank you to our friends at Flutter Unified All Stars Athletics for creating a day where inclusion was truly celebrated.

Something changed…
and most people won’t even notice it at first ❄️💜

But it matters. A lot.

Because Flurries was one thing for a long time
cheerleading.

And if you’ve been here from the beginning, you know how much that meant to us.

But as we’ve grown…
so has the way our athletes move, express, and build confidence

So instead of keeping ourselves in one lane,
we’re growing into it

Because what we’re building here was never just about cheer —
it’s about giving our athletes a space to move, express, and shine in their own way 💜

While our friends over at Flutter continue to focus on athletics,
Flurries will continue to grow into something rooted in movement and expression

And this?
This is just the beginning

World Autism Day ♾️

Today (and every day), we focus on inclusion, acceptance, love, and celebrating exactly who our amazing athletes are.

Our athletes are the ones who brighten our lives, light up the mat, and make Flurries… Flurries ❄️💜

They remind us every day that there isn’t one way to learn, communicate, or shine. That confidence grows in both big moments and small ones. And that when athletes are supported and accepted for who they are, beautiful things can happen.

We are better because of them.
We are stronger because of them.
And we wouldn’t be us without them 💜
