Plot twist: I got reported to the medical board for... doing my job too well.
Okay, that's not exactly what happened.
Here's the real story:
I posted a video about stimulants and ADHD. Some people loved it. Some people got mad.
One psychologist got SO mad she reported me to the Wisconsin medical board.
Not for malpractice. Not for harming patients.
For having an opinion she disagreed with.
Wild, right?
My nervous system's first response: Full panic. Anxiety. Victim mode.
My second response: Oh wait. I literally teach people how to handle this exact thing.
So I:
• Regulated my nervous system (breath, body, grounding)
• Reached out for support (got incredible testimonials)
• Reframed the narrative (this is happening FOR me, not TO me)
• Stood by my work (because I can)
Then, I looked her up and as I was looking at her picture intently, I decided to extend compassion to her. After all, if I truly believe in my quantum physics philosophy (quantum entanglement, we are all ONE, etc), then she is a reflection, part of the same unified field of consciousness that I am a part of.
Wait, I am not being all spiritual, all good. Not at all.
Holding anger, vengefulness, demanding justice and retribution is so much more heavy and costly (in terms of energy, time, etc) than forgiveness, acceptance and moving on.
I was able to do this by being present, aware, breathing through it, not numbing any emotion but allowing the energy to flow through me and finally, surrendering to the Divine.
So then, I slept really well. I felt incredible passion and energy, drive to finally finish my book and submit to my publisher, etc.
Moral of the story:
Satyam Eva Jayente: Truth Alone Prevails.
I'll post a part 2 soon with the actual evidence behind my claims for those who want to see it 😊
Disclaimer: And if any clinicians out there see this differently, I'd genuinely love to talk. My door is always open, either by comments or DM.
