In some of life's hardest moments they bring comfort, guidance and reassurance to families, helping create meaningful goodbyes that truly matter.

We're talking a full line up of classics, from our 1974 Cadillac DeVille to our classic Miller-Meteor Hearses and even the Dodge Tradesman van all in that unforgettable gold-brown color.

They may have not been the flashiest fleets, but they carried decades of stories, service and care for all the families we've been honored to serve. Looking back it is those little details - the colors, the styles and the memories - that remind us just how far we have come.

And while the vehicles have changed over the years, one thing never has: our commitment to serving our community with dignity, compassion and heart.

Anyone who met Diana fell in love with her because she made you feel welcomed and loved. She had a heart like no other, but she especially loved her three cats, Mollie, Mandi, and Lilly. Diana loved them, and they loved her too! Diana was a great person, and she will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

Rowland will be remembered at a graveside celebration of his life on April 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Bridgeton Cemetery in Bridgton, North Carolina. Following the service Rowland will be laid to rest next to his sweet wife and among several of his family members in the Hamilton family plot.

We may be a little late, but appreciation like this is always worth sharing. 💙
We want to take a moment to recognize all Social Workers, who show up with compassion, strength and dedication, especially the incredible individual we're spotlighting today. This is Alissa with Craven County Department of Social Services.
Here is a little glimpse into her story, in her own words...

'I am the director of Craven County Senior Services which is a part of the Adult Services Division of the Department of Social Services. I have worked here for almost ten years and have been the director for seven. Senior Services provides programs, classes, health promotion, support, nutrition, and more to the seniors and caregivers of Craven County. Adult Services provides Adult Care Home Monitoring, adult placement, Adult Protective Services, case management, guardianship, In-Home Aide services, Special Assistance/In-Home Program, and information and referrals to the adults of Craven County. I enjoy being able to serve the seniors and adults of Craven County, as well as work with amazing Social Workers and Coworkers and hope to continue to do so.'

Your compassion, dedication and care leave a lasting impact on so many lives. Thank you for all you do, today and everyday. ⭐

He will be laid to rest following the funeral mass at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 3005 Country Club Road, New Bern, North Carolina 28560.
