We provide assistance with your choice of in-ground burial, or placement in one of our Mausoleums and for cremated remains, we offer an Urn Garden for burial and a Columbarium for niche placement. You will be forever in our care in our serene and peaceful surroundings. We will help you honor the memory of your loved ones with integrity. As an authorized Remembrance Process provider, we will assist you in capturing the essence of your loved one and featuring your fondest memories in bronze. We strive to serve our families with their best interests at heart and to honor with integrity the memory of their loved ones. Our goal is to offer professional help that demystifies cemetery details for you. We pledge to listen to your concerns, explain the opportunities available, and to respond to your personal needs. An office is located on the Park Grounds and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. and weekends by appointment. Grounds crew and Family Service personnel are available to work with you at your convenience. Services are held daily except for major holidays. Our phones are answered 24/7, even on holidays.

This afternoon, Greenleaf Memorial Park was gently transformed by snow ❄️🤍

A quiet blanket settled over the grounds, softening every path, every tree, every memorial—bringing with it a deep sense of peace.

Snow has a way of slowing the world down. It invites reflection. It reminds us of moments long past—of winters shared, laughter remembered, and love that never truly leaves us. Even in the stillness, the stories here continue to live on.

We know that for many families in our area, Greenleaf is a sacred place — it holds memories, tears, prayers, and conversations spoken quietly into the cold air. Seeing the park this way feels like a tender embrace—nature offering comfort, rest, and calm.

If you’re missing someone today, know that you’re not alone. Their memory rests here, cared for and honored, even on the coldest winter days. And when the snow melts, the love remains.

As part of our ongoing reinvestment in the grounds and facilities at Greenleaf Memorial Park, we wanted to share a few photos from work completed this week.

We recently identified significant erosion along the back of the Lakeside Chapel that posed a safety concern for guests and could have impacted the chapel’s foundation. To address this, we installed new guttering along the rear of the chapel to redirect rainwater safely away from the structure and toward the lakes.

The next phase will include adding soil along the chapel’s edge to create a smooth, level transition from the chapel area to the surrounding grassy space.

Also pictured is my little sidekick and unofficial grounds superintendent, Brody, inspecting the progress—and judging by the enthusiastic thumbs-up, the work has his full approval. 👍

Big things are happening at Greenleaf Memorial Park!

We’re excited to share that the roof on our Lakeside Chapel is being fully replaced. This project is more than routine maintenance — it’s part of our ongoing commitment to improving the facilities and grounds of the park so families can continue to gather here in comfort and peace for many years to come.

The Lakeside Chapel has long been a special place of reflection, remembrance, and meaningful goodbyes. By making this upgrade, we’re ensuring the chapel remains a safe, beautiful, and welcoming space for every service, every season, and every family who entrusts us with their care. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the prior owner and longtime steward of Greenleaf, Linda Cotten, for her significant investment and commitment to seeing this project through as we transition into a new chapter.

At Greenleaf, we believe memorial spaces should be as enduring as the love they honor. Each improvement we make — from buildings to landscapes — is guided by a simple promise: to serve families with compassion, dignity, and respect, now and into the future.

Today, as we celebrate a new chapter in the storied history of Greenleaf Memorial Park, we also honor Linda Cotten (Dodson) as she enters a well-deserved retirement.

For more than seven decades, members of the Cotten family have faithfully cared for these sacred grounds. Linda, alongside her late husband R.L. “Bob” Cotten Jr., and his parents before them, compassionately served thousands of families who entrusted their loved ones to Greenleaf Memorial Park’s care.

For the past 30years, Linda’s leadership and vision have preserved and strengthened her family’s legacy — ensuring that Greenleaf remained a place of beauty, dignity, and comfort.

As she begins this next chapter, Linda now passes the torch on to Rex and Amanda Bennett and their family, who will continue the proud traditions of service that have defined Greenleaf Memorial Park for generations.

While taking a stroll around the grounds this afternoon, I snapped several photos of the landscape, including this stunning tree, glowing in its autumn colors. Later, while scrolling through the photos I took, I couldn’t help but notice how the sunlight seemed to form an angel above — a gentle reminder that these grounds are a truly sacred place and a comfort to know that we are surrounded by the Lord’s presence. — Psalms 91:11 reminds us that “He will give His angels charge over us.” 🪽💛 (note: this photo was not altered in any way — it is exactly as taken originally)

The rain may have made for a gray and quiet morning, but we didn’t let that stop us from adding a touch of beauty to our grounds. 🌧️🌷 We planted fresh flowers around the entrance sign, hoping they bring a bit of light and comfort to all who visit. This is just the beginning—many more beautification projects are to come as we continue caring for this special place. 🌿✨ That's our solemn promise.
