Croatan Village Assisted Living Each suite and bathroom is also equipped with an emergency call system should the resident require immediate attention 24 hours a day.

A 72 bed licensed assisted living and memory care community designed and specially staffed to accommodate seniors who require daily supervision or personal assistance, but who do not need the complex medical attention provided by a nursing home. Croatan Village offers the largest two room assisted living suites in the area in addition to spacious private or companion suites with a private bath and individual temperature controls in each room. Assisted living residents are offered assistance with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, transferring, medication management and other personal care. Personalized Service Plans are developed on each resident to meet their changing medical needs and assure they are receiving the appropriate level of services to maintain the highest quality of life possible. Even the menus and snacks are carefully planned by a registered dietitian, to be nutritionally complete as well as appetizing and delicious. Our spacious activity areas offer stimulating social and spiritual programs coordinated by a certified Activity Director.

In preparation for the 2016 Craven County Alzheimer's North Carolina Walk, "Making Memories Matter," Croatan Village is coming together to form, "Team Making Strides". We would love for everyone to come out and join our team on May 21, 2016, at Union Point Park in New Bern to make the walk with us. We are currently in the process of raising money to donate towards the Alzheimer's North Carolina, with all proceeds staying local. Croatan Village is currently selling shirts, bracelets, and paper feet. Stop on by to sign up to join our team and get your Alzheimer's gear. ** All shirts do however need to be pre-ordered by May 3. We greatly appreciate all the support everyone continues to give us on a daily basis and we look forward to seeing you.
