Boyer Family Funeral Homes remains committed and prepared to safely care for all families during the corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic. We recognize our responsibility to protect both the physical and emotional health of those in our care and our community at large. We will continue to guide client families and to provide them with options that allow them to safely participate in the healing rituals that are most important to them while adhering to the guidance issued by federal, state and local public health officials.
We are closely following the guidelines from the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health
Organization (WHO), the Department of Health and Human
Services and other federal, state and local public health officials. According to the CDC, there is no known risk associated with being in the same room at a funeral or visitation service with the body of someone who died of confirmed or suspected COVID- 19. Families may choose to have their loved one safely embalmed and may continue to select either body burial or cremation as usual.
Boyer Family Funeral Homes is fully operational and we are
actively monitoring the pandemic as we continue the crucial care that we provide to our community. Our staff is well trained in proper hand hygiene, cough and sneeze etiquette, physical
distancing, environmental disinfection and infection control
protocols. The health and safety of our client families, our
community and our team is our top priority.
While we sincerely hope that you will not need our care during
this difficult time, we stand ready to care for you and your family if called upon. Please feel free to call us at any time and for any reason by dialing 717-582-2616.
