We had our Mardi Gras day here at Autumn Wind. We started the day with our residents decorating their masks. Then the residents gathered around to judge the employee mask competition while King cake was passed around. Our lovely Juanita won the competition. We finished our Mardi Gras celebration out with a parade around the building!!💚💜💛🥳

Merry Christmas to All
And to All A Good Night !!

The Christmas party was a success, they loved all Santa’s gifts, their lunch, pizzas (which was requested )and all the goodies and snacks.

Residents had asked to watch a movie in dining room after lunch, but when it was over they decided they would rather go to their rooms for a nap 💤

Thank you all for the Santa gifts and for the snacks.

This is an update on Christmas party and lunch Thursday, 18 December 2025.
The lunch and party is still on, with the exception it will be for the residents and staff only. This is per request of residences that were surveyed.
They want to have pizza and hand food(which the kitchen will make homemade and that the residents picked out).
They want to watch a Christmas movie in the dining area and snack on all their goodies.
Santa gifts will be given out, so if you haven’t brought yours please do.
There is still a lot of sickness going around in the facility and a lot of staff were down with it today, so the least amount of outside visitors will help to hopefully contain it and the residents will be safe and healthy.
