It’s Dr. Kam’s last week at the office! She is headed out on maternity leave. She plans to return sometime in October! In the meantime, Dr. Bree is here seeing all the pediatric and prenatal patients! Dr. Bree has great hours and is excited to fill in for Dr. Kam in her absence!

We are so excited to welcome Dr. Bree to our team at Ply Family Wellness! We know you will all love her! Here’s a little more about Dr. Bree!

Dr. Bree graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio with a Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science. She then went on to Texas Chiropractic College where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic in August of 2023. Dr. Bree is currently pursuing further education through the ICPA in pediatric and prenatal care and is excited to join Dr. Kam in serving this special community of moms and babies! Dr. Bree loves sports and played volleyball all through college. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her sweet dog Leia. She also enjoys music, spending time outdoors, and traveling.

We can’t wait for you all to get to know Dr. Bree in the coming months at the office!

Did you know you should be getting about half your weight in protein daily as a bare minimum? Those needs increase drastically with exercise, pregnancy, stress, age and more! Most people struggle to meet this goal following the standard American diet. Make sure you prioritize protein at every meal! Try to get in protein with any snacks as well. Your blood sugar will start to balance and you’ll melt away fat and build healthy muscle in no time!
