One of our veterinarians, Johanna Murray, is on dialysis and urgently needs a kidney transplant. Johnna is a friend, co-worker, caretaker of our furry friends, and a loved member of our community, and she needs our help.

Unlike most major illnesses, there is no treatment that can restore kidney function. Dialysis only keeps someone alive temporarily. The only real solution is a kidney transplant—and that requires the generosity of another person.

Johanna is searching for a living kidney donor. Even if you are not able to donate, sharing her story can help reach someone who can—and that could save her life.
