The New Jersey Reentry Corporation launched The Journal of Women and Criminal Justice.

The Journal is edited by Dr. Gloria Bachmann, Associate Dean for Women's Health, Director, Women's Health Institute (WHI), Medical Director of the PROUD Gender Center of NJ, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

"We can’t sit back—and we’re not! The disproportionate burden of poor health stemming from infectious disease, chronic medical condition, substance disorders, mental health issues and traumatic events affects incarcerated women more than women in general--- not only during their confinement, but before and afterwards, too," Dr. Bachmann said.
