Our Advanced Heart Failure, VAD, and Heart Transplant team hosted an educational session focusing on LVAD management for our healthcare partners working in rehabilitation facilities. The session included a formal presentation followed by hands-on training, allowing participants to become familiar with the equipment and to learn proper dressing change techniques.

We were proud to partner with providers representing nine different rehabilitation facilities to offer this training and look forward to planning more sessions in 2026!

RWJUH’s Advanced Heart Failure, VAD and Heart Transplant program is Joint Commission certified and designated as a Center of Excellence by Optum.
