Redness is not always “pink eye”! The most common reason is dryness (which can be its own thing or related to medications, eye strain, lack of sleep etc) but other reasons include allergies, contact lens use, a reaction to wind or chlorine or smoke. There are also the serious eye conditions that can make eyes red but those often have pain/sensitivity to light. And remember, rubbing your eyes makes it worse! So don’t do that 😊 also don’t use visine- it’s bad for your eyes 👎🏻and come see us so we can help!
