Bodymechanics: Tuning Body & Mind Bodymechanics focus on balancing the body and mind through massage therapy, strength & conditioning "The body is very forgiving. Sung Pak

Sung Pak, principal of Bodymechanics, enhances mobility and performance through a combination of massage therapy, strength and conditioning and Suspension Therapy in his custom studio at Halo, the health and wellness community at 45 Grove Street in New Canaan, Connecticut. Bodymechanics applies the concept of routine maintenance associated with extending the longevity of vehicles to caring for one’s body. Pak makes it his first priority to identify and remove the root cause of any pain. Then, he uses a combination of modalities to help his client improve balance, flexibility and strength while working toward a specific goal. In this way, he has been able to help people with injuries and special needs as well as athletes striving to reach a higher level of performance. Pak is among the first in our area to use a suspension-based corrective exercise and rehabilitation tool that uses gravity and bodyweight to create resistance. This technique challenges the motor system and provides a wide range of difficulty through simple, low-impact movements. We have the ability to heal ourselves. I'm just the facilitator,” explains Pak. "By balancing the body and mind, movement becomes pain-free, which enables greater performance - like gaining 20 yards on a golf swing or running your first marathon. It’s never too late to bring out your inner athlete." As one client explains, "Sung gives 200% of his high energy and intense focus to motivating me every time we work together. Each session makes a huge difference in how I feel about my body, and, as a result, in how I feel about myself." About Bodymechanics
