We are excited to welcome Scott Owens, FNP-C, who will join us early January 2026 as one of our family nurse practitioners!

Nathaniel "Scott" Owens has been working in the healthcare field for nearly several decades. He began his career as a medical social worker before attending nursing school, and he started practicing as a family nurse practitioner in early 2015 after completing his MSN coursework and clinicals at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Scott speaks Spanish and has experience in multiple settings, including primary care, geriatrics, free clinics, family medicine, hospice, and palliative care. He enjoys all aspects of family practice, from collaborating with patients and families to integrating evidence-based medicine to help patients reach their healthcare goals.

CVCHC offers medical, dental, behavioral health, xray, mammography, and pharmacy services. Most insurances are accepted and a sliding scale discount is available.
