As a Junior at Riverside High School, Addison exemplifies what it means to be a true student-athlete. She is a three-year letterman in both basketball and soccer, and a two-year letterman going into her spring softball season. She has played all three sports for 11+ years, while also participating in three years of volleyball for Riverside, showcasing her versatile and dedicated love for sports.
She has been a contributing member on the soccer field for several years, a three-year starter for the highschool as a striker. She received the Hustle Award in the 2025 season, as well as contributing to the team's Section Championship as a co-leading scorer.
After a quiet first two years on the Varsity Basketball team, she finally had a chance to shine as a Co-Captain during the 2026 season. She was a dominant player on the post ending the season with 190 points, 124 rebounds, and over 45 steals. In the words of Coach Frue, Addison is a great leader who works hard and sets the tone for her teammates. She is a person who cares deeply and it shows in her play not only on the court but off as well.
Although she loves each of her sports, softball has always been her definite favorite. An explosive player from the very start, she has dedicated much of her time playing on both rec and travel teams in addition to her success for the school. As a starter for the varsity softball team her freshman year she earned Most Improved Player Award. She carried her dedication into her sophomore year, earning the Defensive Player of the Year Award. After high school, she hopes to continue her softball career at the college level.
Addison's achievements extend beyond the playing field into the classroom. As the president of the 2027 Class, she is a High Honor Roll student, as well as a member of NHS. She's been committed to several clubs, including Student Council, TRI-M Honors Society, and the Teen Leadership Club.
Outside of her athletics and academics, she enjoys her summer job at Geneva College as a member of the Grounds Crew. She considers herself a dedicated nerd, with her vivacious love for reading as well as movie and music, as she is also a 4-year cast member of Riverside's musical. She is also involved in her church's youth group

Mason Holler - Riverside Athlete of the Month
Mason has erupted onto the high school football scene this year, turning two years of setbacks into a season of spectacular achievement. Mason's freshman and sophomore years were stymied by injuries and illness, limiting his availability. Despite these setbacks, he still managed to show glimpses of his potential, being among team leaders in tackles both years, earning a varsity letter each season, and scoring a timely pick-six in Riverside's playoff upset against OLSH last year.

The start of 2025 seemed to follow the same pattern when Mason suffered a significant ankle sprain in training camp. However, his unwavering dedication to rehab and hard work led to his complete availability this year. The result - 1,166 yards from scrimmage, 15 touchdowns, and being unanimously selected to the MAC All-Conference Team.

Mason has served as an unofficial leader, driving his teammates by example. Beyond the gridiron, Mason is proactively preparing for his future, attending Vo-Tech to pursue a career in machine and tool technology and electrical work.
