Yesterday, our NHT Department completed a Nursing Home Transition that reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

We had the privilege of helping a gentleman in his early 40s return home after nearly a year in a nursing facility. His recovery has been nothing short of extraordinary, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. He fought hard to rebuild his health and his life.

When he walked into his home today and saw everything set up, he became overwhelmed with gratitude. His goals were simple: to take a hot shower in privacy and bake a loaf of Italian bread again. After so long in a facility, those “little things” meant everything — right down to the exact kind of flour we made sure to have waiting for him.

After the move-in, we sat at his own dining table and shared lunch together. He looked around and said,
“I can’t believe we are sitting here, at my table, having lunch this time.”

The last time we shared a meal, it was at a restaurant. Today, it was in his home, something he once wasn’t sure he’d ever have again.

In 2025, we proudly completed 32 Nursing Home Transitions.
So far in 2026, we’ve already completed 7 more — and we’re just getting started.

We love helping people reclaim their independence, dignity, and sense of home. Every transition is life-changing — and we’re honored to be part of each one.
