We would love to give a BIG shoutout to Patricia Crowe and Angela Cox from the Henry County Health Department for hosting a Christmas Box Photography Session for our residents on Christmas Eve! 🎁✨

The photos turned out fantastic, and our residents had such a great time participating and showing off their holiday spirit! Smiles, laughter, and festive cheer made the day extra special for family and friends. 😊🎅

Our annual Elf on the Shelf competition was a huge hit this year, full of festive fun and a bit of friendly competition! 🧝‍♂️🎅 The Elf was a tricky one, hiding in some tough-to-find spots, but our residents rose to the challenge! 👀🔍

🕯️✨ Our annual Holiday Candle Lite Dinner was a beautiful success! Our incredible Dietary team prepared a delicious feast featuring ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and all of our holiday favorites. 🍽️🎄

Each table was perfectly topped with festive Christmas fruit and veggie trees, a display our residents truly loved. Adding to the magic of the evening, Maci Stearns filled the room with heavenly Christmas songs, our residents absolutely adore her voice and talent. 🎶❤️

🎄☕ A Heartfelt Thank You to Jill Cook! ☕🎄

We want to extend a loving and heartfelt Thank You to our wonderful volunteer, Jill Cook, for hosting the most delightful Christmas Tea Party! Jill and her mother, Joan I., shared this cherished tradition for years, and although Joan passed this past May, her spirit filled the room.

Jill’s strength, compassion, and grace shone beautifully throughout the event. In a touching tribute to her mother, she gifted each participant one of Joan’s own china teacups and saucers, a gesture that deeply moved everyone.

Residents also received handmade Christmas tree ornaments crafted earlier this season by the talented ladies in our Craft Club. 🎄✨

Everyone had a fabulous time, and we are thrilled to share that Jill will be hosting a new tea party every quarter!

✨ Holiday Week at Our Community Was a “Grinch-Tastic” Success! ✨

Last week we kicked off our holiday celebrations in the most mischievous way, by letting the Grinch steal Christmas! 💚

Each day, residents enjoyed festive meals with green-themed treats, from muffins and cookies to eggs that perfectly captured the Grinchy spirit. It was a fun, colorful way to savor the season together!

We wrapped up the week with a lively Grinch Who Stole Christmas Happy Hour, and guess who made a surprise appearance? 👀
The Grinch himself stopped by to mingle, take photos, and even attempt to run off with one of our Christmas trees, our residents made sure he didn’t get very far! 🎄😂

Seeing everyone laugh, socialize, and enjoy the magic of the moment made the week truly unforgettable. 💚✨

✨🎄 3rd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration 🎄✨

Our Independent Living community came together for an unforgettable evening filled with family, friends, and delicious homemade food. Each resident received a handcrafted ornament to place on our Christmas tree while our Life Enrichment Director highlighted their wonderful achievements from the past year.

With a joyful countdown, we lit our community Christmas tree, surrounded by laughter, kindness, and the true spirit of the season. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Darlene W. for preparing the amazing food, and a big shoutout to Laura T. and David V. for lovingly creating the beautiful ornaments.

Here’s to another year of community, celebration, and holiday magic! ✨
