At some stage in your veterinary career, you will be presented with a canine patient that has hock swelling, discomfort, and/or hyperextension.

Many conditions can be ruled out that are primary or secondary to this presentation: Soft tissue injury, tick-borne disease, auto-immune disease, OCD, OA, etc.

This webinar walks you through the diagnostic process to determine if the symptoms are primary or secondary. Once the symptoms are identified, what are the best short and long-term courses of treatment?

🏢 Our practice highlight of the week is Bad Axe Animal Clinic in Bad Axe, MI! 🐶

Founded in 1972 and a longtime staple of the community, Dr. Jane Kubacki leads this small animal clinic that aims to provide all animals with the highest standard of care while minimizing pain and optimizing their comfort.

They see just about everything as a rural practice, which is why their services range from ocular testing and in-house blood work to basic wellness exams and allergy testing.

They also now offer laser therapy with the portable Companion CTX-IQ, which allows them to treat over 80 acute and chronic conditions non-invasively. They're pictured here during the laser's installation with the first lucky patient- look at that smile!
