“How frequently should we treat?” remains one of the common questions from operators in the field. This is an important facet of laser therapy, as the operator can induce a quicker response as well as a more sustained response long term when being flexible in treatment session frequency.

Laser therapy provides the leeway for the operator to be creative and responsive to a patient’s “glide path” of response to the modality as we initiate laser therapy.

As pet owners engage in the busiest shopping weekend of the year, it's important to be aware of signs of distress their pet may exhibit when dressing them up in new clothing for the holidays.

Here's a quick infographic to share with them on your social media channels about ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients and four-legged friends:

✅Ok

--> Lightweight, breathable fabrics
--> Properly fitting clothing—snug, but not tight
--> Outfits that don’t restrict movement, vision, or breathing
--> Introducing clothing gradually to help them adjust
--> Warm clothing for breeds with short coats (like a Whippet or Chihuahua) in cold weather

🚫Not Ok

--> Dressing pets if they seem stressed, uncomfortable, or resistant
--> Outfits with small parts, strings, or ties that could be chewed or swallowed
--> Leaving clothed pets unsupervised (fabric can get caught or tangled)

Every patient is unique. Urge your clients to contact you if they have any questions or doubts about dressing up their pet.

🦃🐾 Thanksgiving Safety Tips 🐾🍂

Tomorrow brings together family, friends, giant plates of turkey, ham, potatoes, and so much more... which makes today a great time to remind your pet owners about pet safety around these delicious meals.

Share this list of holiday favorites that can be dangerous for dogs and cats to help cut down on unnecessary and painful GI visits this weekend.

🆗 Pet-Friendly Food:

--> Plain, cooked turkey (no seasoning, skin, or bones)
--> Cranberries (fresh or dried)
--> Plain sweet potatoes (no butter, sugar, or marshmallows)
--> Steamed green beans (no seasoning)
--> Canned or cooked pumpkin (unsweetened, no spices)
--> Corn (not the cob)
--> Rice (unseasoned)
--> Apples (no core or seeds)

⛔ Food to Avoid:

--> Turkey skin, drippings, and bones (can splinter and cause injuries)
--> Ham
--> Stuffing
--> Gravy (often contains onions, garlic, or excess fat)
--> Raw potatoes
--> Garlic
--> Onions
--> Desserts (chocolate and xylitol are toxic)
--> Fatty foods (can upset their stomach or cause pancreatitis)

🐶Watch how 10-year-old Terrier cross "Xeva" recently recovered from a cartilage tear and shoulder OA with the help of platelet-rich plasma...

Poor Xeva lived with foreleg lameness for a year- normal pain meds weren't working, and the she kept getting worse. Advanced imaging finally revealed a cartilage tear in her shoulder that explained everything.

Two months after a single 2ml PRP injection, she was off gabapentin and back to running with her humans like nothing ever happened 🐕.
