LCARC Lawrence County Association for Responsible Care

LCARC Lawrence County Association for Responsible Care At LCARC we work closely with families to identify and meet the needs of the people we serve. We also provide support and advocacy for their families.

LCARC is a private non-profit that provides residential and community participation services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Lawrence County, PA. Throughout our services we strive for quality and excellence, easy access, individualized planning, and flexible support while respecting the dignity and rights of each individual in our care. LCARC advocates for the adults, children, and youth in our community who need our services. Relationships are important. We encourage and support the individuals we serve in maintaining established relationships with friends, family and co-workers. In addition, individuals are offered a wide variety of social activities to choose from, where they will have the opportunity to make new friends and increase their social support network. LCARC promotes community integration. Opportunities for service and civic involvement allow the individuals to take an active role in the community where they live, work and play. With staff support and assistance, individuals may choose to do volunteer work, or support a local charity. We know that the individuals we serve have a lot to offer their community and we give them every opportunity to share. Let us help you find the services you need in order to provide the best care for your loved one. We assist with waiver enrollment, coordination of medical and psychological assessments, and are able to make recommendations appropriate for the needs, goals and wants of the individual and their family.

We hope you enjoy your retirement, Joe! Best wishes from LCARC.
