Over six weeks, Synceer, Jordan, Leeya, & Bryant supported the CHEER, Sussex County, preparing meals for local residents as part of Easterseals’ Pre-Employment & Transition Services.

Programs like this give students with disabilities the chance to gain valuable, hands-on work experience that mirrors opportunities available to their peers—and the results have been incredible!

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Easterseals Intellectual Disability Services’ Prevocational Program participants wore purple in solidarity with survivors and advocates. 💜

Throughout the month, the group has taken part in meaningful discussions and workshops about healthy and unhealthy relationships and the impact of domestic violence. These conversations help participants build the tools and confidence to create safer, more respectful connections in their lives. 💜
