What it feels like when I snack all day vs. when I plan out my meals better 🤣 (Swipe to see my planned out meals)⠀⠀
Let’s be real. This quarantine has got our schedules turned upside down. Remind me what day of the week it is? 🤔 Some days it’s about making due with what’s left in my pantry and fridge and other days I go all out.⠀⠀
I know the uncertainty can add to our stress so it’s a great time to be kind, compassionate and forgiving to yourself. With that in mind, I wanted to share some tips that help me stay on track with my nutrition most days, but not every day:⠀⠀
1 - Make sure you’re getting daily servings of veggies (whether that’s fresh, frozen or canned xx).⠀
2 - Prioritize protein (I try to incorporate protein into every meal).⠀
3 - Stay hydrated throughout the day. The hypothalamus region regulates both hunger and thirst so sometimes we confuse hunger with being thirsty.⠀
4 - Use Mother Nature’s candy aka fruit to satisfy your sweet tooth.⠀
5 - Add a greens powder or protein powder into the mix if you’re minimizing grocery trips but still want to add more protein & nutrients to your day.⠀
6 - Plan some fun foods in the mix because it’s good for your soul 🍦 ⠀⠀

Staying safe at home during auto isolation , doesn t mean we have yo ditch healthy dishes and binge into sweets and popcorn in front of tv permanently. We have to read, clean, cook, exercise and be with each other. I also think many of you are kind of over that "we're staying in home, let's pig out 🐷🙈😀" period, otherwise I don t explain the huge request for my meal plans these days 😀 So I'll let here some for your and lunch or maybe dinner 👌❤⠀⠀⠀

Are you eating meals 🥞 with your partner or family 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 this week? Do you stress out that your plate must have less food than others?⠀⠀
As I sat down to a pancake breakfast on Sunday 🥞🍯, I realized I was eating the same serving Zack had. I could have stressed over what I needed, comparing and judging myself, but instead I tapped into the wisdom I’ve gained on my food freedom journey. I remembered I love pancakes, I wanted to be satisfied instead of hungry, and we all have different needs at different times ‼️ Zack’s a snacker and I prefer several large meals.⠀⠀
So this is a reminder that makes it seem like we, as women 🙆🏼‍♀️, need to eat less just because we are female. That we should eat less than our partners because that’s appropriate at all meals and lady like.⠀⠀
But it’s not. And you can eat exactly what your partner is eating (or even more 🙋🏼‍♀️) to satisfy you 🖤⠀

Here’s to getting creative with our food ✨⁠⠀⁠⠀
If you’re a true apple fan, you probably already love to eat them good ole fashioned way 💯 But, I always love to get creative with my food and apples are one of those versatile fruits you can use in almost anything.⁠⠀⁠⠀
So, I thought I would share some easy, delicious combos with you today. Because eating healthy should be fun & adventurous.⁠⠀
Check out my ideas below:⁠⠀⁠⠀
1️⃣ Add nut butter to a rice cake & top with apple slices.⁠⠀
2️⃣ Make an epic fruit salad with berries, apples, bananas & kiwi.⁠⠀
3️⃣ Make a sandwich with sprouted bread, nut butter and apple slices.⁠⠀
4️⃣ Chop up an apple and sauté with coconut oil, cinnamon & 1 tsp of maple syrup - so good!!⁠⠀
5️⃣ Cut the apple into round slices, add some nut butter and top with chocolate chips, coconut flakes & dried fruit.⁠⠀
6️⃣ Add to a salad like this combination of apple, pistachios, feta cheese, raisin, cucumber & mixed greens.⁠⠀⁠⠀
