United Nations Accredited NGO MCIF Presents Platinum Who’s Who Award to Designer Prashant Goya
The United Nations Accredited NGO Miss Caricom International Foundation (MCIF) proudly presented the prestigious Platinum Who’s Who Award to internationally acclaimed designer Prashant Goya during Fashion Week NYC on February 12, 2026.
The award was presented in recognition of Goya’s outstanding leadership, cultural advocacy, and more than 20 years of influence in the global fashion industry. The ceremony took place before an audience hundreds of fashion leaders, cultural ambassadors, media representatives, and distinguished guests, highlighting the powerful connection between fashion, heritage, and humanitarian values.
Prashant Goya, a New York–based fashion designer, producer, and cultural advocate, is the Founder of Heritage India Fashions and Producer of International Heritage Fashion Week. He is widely respected for blending traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern couture, creating collections that honor artisans while bringing heritage techniques to global runways.
His work has been featured in Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar, and he is also a recipient of a Global Leadership Award at the United Nations for championing artisans, preserving cultural heritage, and promoting cross-cultural storytelling through fashion.
