PSYFI Guiding Leaders Through Burnout & Balance w/ Physical, Mental & Emotional Coaching The Man Behind PSYFI: A Guide for High-Performing Men

David W.

Mykel isn’t just another coach—he’s the guy who has been in the trenches, fought the battles high-achieving men face, and built the solution that actually works. He created PSYFI because he lived the problem. He knows the silent suffering of high-performing men who seemingly have it all but feel empty, overwhelmed, or stuck. He’s been the guy with the corner office, the impressive title, and the financial success—only to find himself suicidally depressed, questioning everything society told him would bring happiness. He built PSYFI because no one was offering what high-achieving men actually need: a real, structured system that merges neuroscience, psychology, and physical optimization to create fast, sustainable change. No fluff, no vague self-help platitudes—just science-backed strategies that cut through the noise and get results. Why PSYFI Exists: Solving the Silent Crisis of High-Performing Men

David understands that success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure. The men he works with are at the top of their game—executives, entrepreneurs, lawyers, founders, high-level professionals—but they’re burnt out, disconnected, and struggling in silence. They’ve outgrown traditional therapy, leadership coaching, and motivational programs that lack the structure, accountability, and results they demand. PSYFI provides a system that addresses:
Burnout & Overwhelm: Helping men sustain peak performance without sacrificing their mental, emotional, or physical well-being. Lack of Clarity & Direction: Navigating major transitions—whether it’s stepping into leadership, pivoting careers, or redefining personal success. Emotional & Mental Strain: Eliminating anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome so they can lead with confidence and decisiveness. Work-Life Imbalance: Teaching men how to set boundaries and be fully present at work and home. Ineffective Growth Strategies: Replacing outdated self-improvement methods with a structured, science-driven roadmap for success. Identity Shifts & Transitions: Guiding former athletes, executives, and professionals through the psychological challenges of reinvention without losing their drive. The Story That Built the System

David didn’t wake up one day and decide to be a coach—he forged PSYFI through lived experience. Growing up poor in the ghetto of New York, without positive male role models, he sought validation in the societal blueprint: big titles, financial success, and external achievement. It didn’t work. When the pursuit of success led him to suicidal depression, despite the corner office, the big title and financial success, he knew he had to rewrite the script. From free-soloing a 700-ft mountain to surfing two-story waves in Australia, from winning a $2.5M grant for a U.S. president-backed NGO to consulting on billion-dollar landmark legal cases, David has pushed his limits in every arena. He has worked with over 7,000 leaders across 51 countries, developing a first-of-its-kind, scientifically validated program that trains the brain, body, and breath as one. His credentials speak for themselves: a former Division 1 athlete, graduated first in his class from the #1 graduate school in the country, became the youngest litigation psychologist at two top firms, and built a name advising Fortune 500 companies and America’s top law firms on high-stakes, billion-dollar cases. But the real breakthrough? Beating 1.5 years of suicidal depression and using everything he learned to build a repeatable system that transforms lives, his scientifically validated B3 Methodology. Why His Clients Trust Him

David isn’t here to give pep talks—he’s here to deliver tangible, measurable results. His clients trust him because he speaks their language: efficiency, precision, and real-world performance. The results speak for themselves:
Clients achieving partner at top 100 law firms. Entrepreneurs scaling multi-million dollar businesses without burnout. Professional athletes and C-Suite executives redefining success after career transitions. Fathers becoming more present and engaged at home while excelling at work. Men eliminating self-doubt, managing stress, and building emotional resilience. David’s approach is rooted in his own hard-earned wisdom and backed by science and psychology. He teaches men how to Own the Pause, Train Their Focus Muscle, Fact Check Their Feelings, and Take Opposite Action. The Legacy of PSYFI: Changing the Definition of Success

For too long, high-performing men have been told that success comes at the cost of their health, relationships, and happiness. David is here to change that narrative. Through PSYFI, he’s building a new standard for leadership and performance—one where men can achieve at the highest levels without losing themselves in the process. Because when high-performing men are physically, mentally, and emotionally optimized, they lead better, love better, and live better. That’s the PSYFI way. And that’s why David is the guide that high-achieving men didn’t know they needed—but absolutely do.

MAKE 2026 YOUR YEAR 👇
Use it as a chance to upgrade how you think, move, and execute.

Here’s what I’m doing to make it my most successful yet:

1️⃣ Define the future self I want to become.
Not vague goals. Clear identity. Every decision flows from him.

2️⃣ Map the 3 non-negotiables that will drive my life.
Health. Energy. Clarity. Pick your pillars and let everything else bend around them.

3️⃣ Schedule wins, not tasks.
Small, daily victories compound into momentum. The 1% approach beats brute force every time.

4️⃣ Move the body daily.
Energy isn’t optional — it’s performance currency.

5️⃣ Protect the mind.
Digital hygiene, nature, selective inputs. What you feed your brain shapes your outcomes.

6️⃣ Practice opposite action.
When resistance hits, move toward it. That’s how discipline becomes automatic.

7️⃣ Breath + reset rituals.
Overwhelm is a habit. Breathwork and micro-pauses train the nervous system to stay sharp.

8️⃣ Review and adjust weekly.
Data + reflection beats motivation alone. Know what’s working, double it, cut what isn’t.

This isn’t hype.
It’s a system.
And the man who runs it consistently will leave the year far ahead of where he started.

Most procrastination isn’t about the task
it’s about the story you tell yourself before you start.

The truth?
The thing you’re avoiding usually takes 5 minutes once you actually begin.

High performers don’t wait for motivation
they shrink the resistance by taking the first micro-action:
open the laptop
fill out the form
send the message
start the rep

Momentum isn’t emotional
it’s mechanical.
Do the thing and watch your brain stop making it bigger than it is.

11/26/2025

Overwhelm doesn’t show up because you’re weak.
It shows up because your brain is trying to hold too many things at once.

Discipline isn’t about grinding harder
it’s about creating enough structure for your mind to breathe again.

When everything feels chaotic, try this
pick one thing. do it fully. finish it.

Not the whole list.
Not the whole plan.
Just one.

That tiny win signals safety to your nervous system.
Your focus sharpens.
Your anxiety drops.
And momentum starts to rebuild itself.

This is what discipline actually is
not pressure
but clarity.
Not force
but direction.

One small promise kept at a time.
That’s how you beat overwhelm.
That’s how you take your power back.

THE HABITS👇

Not because they look good on paper
but because they rewire how you think, move, and show up.

1. Get brutally clear on your future self.
What does his life look like?
How does he think, move, make decisions?
Start acting from him now, not when you “feel ready.”

2. Rewrite your self-image.
You don’t rise to your goals.
You rise to your identity.
Catch the thoughts that shrink you and replace them with ones that match the man you’re becoming.

3. Move your body every single day.
Not for aesthetics, for your mind.
Motion regulates emotion.
A 20-minute walk beats another hour of spiraling.

4. Go outside twice a day.
Even if it’s just a park.
Nature resets your nervous system faster than any productivity hack.

5. Build one non-negotiable morning anchor.
Breathwork, reading, stretching—anything that centers you.
The day bends to the man who starts grounded.

6. Take “opposite action.”
When resistance hits, go toward it.
Don’t want to train? Move.
Don’t want to call? Dial.
This builds the discipline that destroys overwhelm.

7. Create a 1% system.
Tiny wins, every day.
It’s not intensity that changes your life, it’s consistency.

8. Feel what you avoid.
Anger, stress, shame… they don’t disappear by ignoring them.
When you feel them fully, you stop leaking energy fighting yourself.

9. Protect your inputs.
Your mind is the asset.
Clean up your feed, your environment, your conversations.
Your life will follow.

If you devoted a year to these nine habits
you wouldn’t recognize yourself by next November.

11/16/2025

When overwhelm hits, most men do the same thing
push harder, think faster, try to outrun the stress.
But that only tightens the loop.

Here’s the one question that actually breaks it
“What do I need right now?”

Not tomorrow.
Not next week.
Right now.

It pulls you out of panic and back into your body.
It gives your mind direction instead of chaos.
And it reminds you that you’re allowed to take care of yourself too.

Men are taught to carry everything alone.
But overwhelm isn’t a weakness
it’s a sign your system needs space, breath, and clarity.

If you’re feeling it today
ask the question.
Give yourself what you need.
One moment at a time.

11/09/2025

Today was one of those days.
Everything that could go wrong, did.
Little things piled up until it didn’t feel so little anymore.
And for a while, it felt like no one would really get it.

I kept reminding myself that bad days don’t mean I’m failing.
They’re just part of being human.
Sometimes you don’t need to fix it or reframe it.
You just need to breathe, feel it, and let it move through.

If you’re having one of those days too, you’re not alone.
It’ll pass.
It always does.

11/01/2025

Halloween’s over. The parties, the chaos, the sugar highs.
And now? Most people are already slipping.
Mentally, physically, emotionally.

But this is where high performers separate themselves.
You can either coast into the holidays… or take back control of your focus, your breath, your body, and your mind.

⚡ The last PFX Class of the year is this week.
A full-system reset: physical, mental and emotional, built to sharpen your edge before 2026 hits.

Don’t start next year burned out.
Start it powerfully.

👉 DM “PFX” to grab one of the last spots before it’s gone.

10/24/2025

It’s not supplements, it’s not meditation.
It’s journaling.

I started asking myself these 3 questions before bed and writing down the first thing that popped up.

No filters. No overthinking. Just truth on paper.

Within a week, my anxiety dropped.
Within two, I was sleeping deeper than I had in years.

These 3 questions changed everything:

1️⃣ What’s my #1 win for today?

2️⃣ What could be improved for tomorrow? (the power of 1%)

3️⃣ What am I grateful for right now?

Your mind can’t rest if it’s still in fight mode.
This is how you teach it to let go.

Save this. Try it tonight. Watch what happens.
