Last weekend was a big one for INSIGHTS. Sandee presented a new study at the Occasional Temperament Conference at Texas A & M. The results showed that the new, technology-enhanced INSIGHTS was even more effective in improving children’s reading skills and sustained attention and in reducing their disruptive behavior problems than the previous in-person version.
Another presentation at the temperament conference by Kathleen Rudasill explained how INSIGHTS was effective in rural midwestern communities, especially for boys. Unfortunately, Kathy was not able to attend, so Sandee presented on her behalf.
Meanwhile, back in Connecticut, Heather Nunes exhibited INSIGHTS’ afterschool program at the Connecticut Network for Children and Youth conference.
