I love to volunteer at St John Lutheran Church in New Freedom, PA. 🚛 We work as a team to unpack a delivery from Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. 🍎 I help create a market and pack boxes for families. 🥕

👨🏻‍🦽‍➡️Accessibility:
Paid kiosk street parking & paid lot parking in downtown Lancaster near Central Market. Easy roll-in access from the sidewalk. They have a big, accessible bathroom. You can pull your wheelchair right up to a table. There’s a back entrance with a couple of steps.

💭 My Thoughts:
They have the best coffee and food! Jay was nice to me and committed to my mission against drinking & driving. He recommended a drink for me with dark chocolate and I loved it! Jay also recommended the vegan cookie. It was delicious! The coffee shop vibe was really nice, peaceful, & stress-free. I met Blaze and he was great. He helped answer my questions and took a picture with me and Jay. The shop has a lot of teas to try, too! Passenger is located in the perfect spot for shopping on a nice day: Lancaster Troll Market, The Lancaster Central Market, & BUiLDiNG CHARACTER are nearby!

💭 My Thoughts:
The nicest staff, Santana, talked to me about my business and listened to my story. She committed to my mission against drinking & driving. We talked about music and how the York Revolution players recommended their coffee shop. My latte was perfect! I love the burnt sugar & silky caramel flavors. This shop is right in the middle of the market with a couple of barstools if you want to sit & sip. There’s no food here but lots of places to grab a snack from market vendors. You can even buy Pullshot coffee beans to go!

I’ve been so excited to tell you about my special speaking engagement at River Rock Academy in Red Lion, PA.

One of the teachers, Hannah Schreiber, MA.ES SpEd learned about me from Facebook. 📱 Mrs. Schreiber teaches a Social Skills class that touches on subjects such as diversity, inclusion, drug and alcohol awareness, boundaries, bullying, resiliency, & more. She thought I’d be perfect for their Drug & Alcohol lessons! 👩🏻‍🏫

ALL of the high schoolers were respectful and nice to me! ❤️ They listened to my story and committed to my mission. The students asked questions and learned about my TBI. A big shout-out to Mrs. Schreiber’s class! 👏 You guys were great! 🌟 It was such an honor to meet with you all.

I was surprised when they presented me with their Be the Change award. 🏆 I feel proud! 😊

Today I visited Interiors Home in York and met the Store Manager, Mary Holzer. 🤩 She was perfect! 🌟 Mary treated me with respect as I shared my story and about my business. ☕️ She even offered to make me a cup of iced coffee! Tracy was nice to me, too. I want everyone in the IDD community to know this is a great place to go! 🛋️

I tried out the zero-gravity massaging recliner… 10 out of 10! 🪑 And look at the spilled coffee prank in my picture. 🤣 My favorite part of the visit was trying out the desks which made me feel like an important businessman. There’s one from Archbold Furniture Company that I loved!

Today was the best day! 🥰 I woke up so excited, because I had plans to meet Ken. ☕️

Ken found my Bill's Famous Coffee Tour business card on the board at Square One Coffee. ☕️ He emailed me & invited me for a surprise. 👕 Look at my new shirt! Ken said he really likes my mission. He treated me to coffee and shared some of his new drink recipe ideas with me. 🤐
