I wanted to give plenty heads up that I will be raising rates at my office effective March 1

I don’t make this decision lightly, I pride myself in being accessible and affordable to my community. In fact, the last time I raised my rates was 5 years ago back in 2021

Since then I’ve been adding even more to my skill set, knowledge, and even added a Shockwave machine that I include (as indicated) in every Chiro treatment

Thank you all for your understanding and continued support for the past 10 years and I vow on to continue providing the highest quality Chiropractic/health care in Maine

Things I hear in office on the daily basis, and it’s because I do things a bit different than your average chiropractor. We figure out the functional issues and incorporate passive AND active treatments as well as home care rehab to get you out of pain right from the first visit, and be able to progress between sessions

Manipulating joints and doing adjustments will NEVER fix a muscular issue 🤓

In powerlifting it’s the same as taking a planned deload every 4-6 weeks

Bicep tendonitis can sometimes be due to congestion of the tissues at the elbow and anterior shoulder

We want to typically attack it two-fold: opening up the tissues and increasing their capacity (ie make the stronger)

Try out this bicep wall stretch you can do nearly anywhere, and try the different hand positions to play with the tension and where you feel it!

I will be out of office from Sept 11th to Sept 15th!

I will be competing on the Pro Day at Power Surge in Carol Streams, IL. It’ll be my first Pro Day experience since I started competing in powerlifting in 2013

Going to be unplugging to make sure I have my focus and energy on my competition and “filling up my cup” so when I return I’m ready to hit the ground running again

There’s some practitioners out there who will cause fear avoidance with movements like deadlifts Then there’s practitioners out there, like me, who understand that being proficient with movements and having proper load management is perfectly safe. Strengthening your body through functional movements such as squat, press, and deadlift will carry over to every day life

Remember: strong things can handle more before breaking

If you’ve peeked at my availability lately, follow me on IG, or have been into the office, you are probably aware that I am booking out 3-4 weeks.

Due to my scheduling being beyond full, and to ensure the continuing care of my current patients, I will be closing off accepting any New Patients.

I had to do this last year as well from August-November and I’m expecting a similar time frame this year

Something that I hear as a chief complaint in my office on the daily, but why are they so wide-spread and common?It's because it's just a SYMPTOM, not an actual diagnosis. It's saying the byproduct of an underlying issueWhich is why if you've been seeing a practitioner to help with your "pinched nerve" but they aren't seeing WHY it's like that in the first place, it'll always work its way backDon't just pluck the weeds out when they pop up, pull up the entire root to prevent them from growing
