Hey Blooming Families!

Good news — we’ve been allocated a much larger supply of flu vaccines for our kiddos with state-managed insurances! 🎉 We’ve already placed an order and will post an update as soon as the doses arrive so you can schedule your child’s appointment.

We still have FluMist available as well for kiddos over two years old who prefer the nasal spray option.

Hello Blooming Families,
Flu season is here, and we’ve already been getting lots of calls to schedule flu shots for your children. We strongly recommend that all kids receive this season’s flu vaccine—last year’s flu really knocked a lot of families down, and prevention is the best protection!
At this time, we want to share some updates about vaccine availability:
For children with state-managed insurance (ie Fidelis, Excellus Child Health Plus, or Medicaid): The state is only sending us small allotments of vaccine every two weeks. This makes it difficult for us to schedule appointments quickly.

If your child is over 3 years old, you may be able to get their flu shot sooner at a local pharmacy.

Children of any age can also receive the flu vaccine at the Health Department.

We know this is frustrating and apologize for the inconvenience. We’ll keep you updated if our supply from the state increases.

For children covered by employer-based insurance: We have plenty of vaccine available now. You can call to schedule a flu shot or Flumist-only visit at your convenience.

Hi Blooming families! They will be paving Tibbets Road today and tomorrow. They don’t expect to be to our parking lot until tomorrow but this is not definite. If you can not get to our parking lot we recommend parking in the Hannaford Plaza, at the end with the smash burger restaurant, and walking over the bridge .
