Hello Blooming Families 🌸
We’ve recently seen some concerns shared online regarding wait times and our late policy, and we wanted to take a moment to address this with our community.
Our goal has always been to provide thoughtful, attentive care while keeping visits running as close to schedule as possible for all of our families. To help achieve this, we have had to implement a 5-minute late arrival policy, with providers using their discretion to make exceptions when the schedule allows.
This change was necessary because we were frequently seeing situations where patients arrived 10–15 minutes late for 15 and 30-minute appointments. These appointments include the full process of check-in, rooming, nursing care, and time with the provider. When multiple late arrivals were accommodated, it often caused delays that impacted every family scheduled afterward—sometimes for the entire day.
We understand how challenging it can be to get children ready and out the door, especially with infants and young siblings, and we truly empathize with those situations as many of us are also mothers. At the same time, maintaining this policy allows us to respect the time of families who arrive as scheduled and ensures each patient receives the full attention they deserve during their visit.
To help mitigate this, we will also be temporarily closing our patient panel, with the exception of newborns. This step allows us to focus on providing the highest quality care for the families currently in our practice. In addition, we request you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled time to help this even further.
We truly appreciate your understanding and support as we work to keep care running smoothly for everyone. Our team will always do its best to help reschedule appointments as quickly as possible when needed, though we may not always be able to offer the exact time requested.
Thank you for being part of the Blooming community.
