Best of luck to all local and FORTE athletes competing this weekend at Nike and New Balance Indoor Nationals.

Keep an eye out for Danny Casatelli, and Emma Szarek, who will be competing this weekend.

We’re excited to offer a free High School Varsity Outdoor Track & Field Media Day this spring.

Where: 50 Genesee Street, New Hartford, NY 13413
When: Wednesday, March 18th from 5:00-8:00 PM
Format: Two teams every 30 minutes (5:00, 5:30, 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30)
Team size: Up to 10 varsity athletes per team

Each program will receive:
* Individual and team photos
* Event-specific shots (spikes, batons, implements, etc.)
* 24-48 hour turnaround
* A private online gallery link that will remain active for the entire season
* Free download and full use for your team’s social media, graphics, senior night, and promotional needs

The early part of an ACL rehab is all about the quad. We have some Russian stim here, and she's kicking out into an extension isometric. We're measuring how much she's kicking with a force dynamometer so we can get that data and compare as she progresses with her rehab. We did this at the beginning of her session so we can get her up and moving onto weightbearing activities, per protocol.

A few more hip focused movements. Banded rotations are more t-spine / core focused but that hip is WORKING, when the foot is closer to midline.

BFR is a great tool when used with the right patient. Blood flow restriction (BFR) lets us create strength and muscle adaptations using very low loads, which is ideal when pain, post-op restrictions, or joint irritability limit traditional training.

The 30-15-15-15 protocol is a common rep scheme with BFR. However, it’s not the only one that works. There are rep schemes that achieve an anaerobic state with muscular failure at low loads. Check out our work!!
