Some interesting information on little ones self soothing. Take a look!

Babies can’t self-soothe. That’s where we come in.

Co-regulation = borrowing a caregiver’s calm.
It’s how babies learn to handle big feelings before they have words or skills to do it solo.

✅ Rocking them when they cry
✅ Speaking gently when they’re upset
✅ Holding them close during scary moments

It’s not spoiling. It’s science. And it starts from birth.

We had a very busy and productive week last week in FBR MDO. The Yale Child Study Center had its annual Open House. FBR MDO was one of the many programs present. It was a great chance to learn more about the many clinical, research, and training opportunities at YCSC. We also had our 4th annual Retreat Week. Retreat Week is a time for FBR MDO to come together and reflect on the last year while planning for the growth and goals of the year ahead.
