Only 6% of physicians are Latino/Latina in the United States, despite us making up roughly 20% of the US population. National Latino Physician day was born to highlight the need to expand representation of our culture in medicine. So this October 1st join us in embracing our Yale Latine family and loudly saying 6% is not enough!
