Introducing Sandra! We are so happy to have you on the team!
Sandra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) offering support for families, adolescents and adults. She incorporates elements of CBT, ACT, DBT and parts work, and provides a strengths-based approach to therapy for clients to have a nonjudgemental space to explore themselves and how they want to approach their lives. Sandra has previously worked in a group home setting for adolescents with complex trauma. Sandra worked with these teens to do reparative work and integrate them back into their families and communities. She also works in evaluating patients in emergency psychiatry hospital settings.
Sandra aligns with the social work principles of honoring the dignity and worth of all individuals, utilizing the healing power of relationships, understanding how systems impact an individual, and furthering social change.
Sandra completed her master’s degree in social work from Columbia University in New York. She has worked in the fashion industry in New York and been a travel writer in Kenya. In her free time, Sandra enjoys being outdoors, photography, and playing on her co-ed soccer team.

Originating in India, Nag Champa has been used for centuries in Hindu and Buddhist traditions to purify spaces, deepen meditation, and invite a sense of calm.
Its signature scent is a blend of sandalwood, frangipani and exotic resins.
Here at Centered we’re intentional about every detail of your healing environment, including what you smell.
Scent is a powerful anchor for the nervous system. Unlike other senses, smell travels directly to your brain‘s emotional and memory system.
If you are looking to integrate your session at home; burning this incense can help you reconnect to the safety and openness you felt during session. A simple and effective practice.
Let us know in the poll; have you burnt Nag Champa in your home or would you try it??

Tonight at .one
Join Dr. Rob Palmer for a unique and deeply restorative 75-minute group experience. This session is designed to help regulate the nervous system, deepen self-awareness, and support emotional and physical well-being.
The group will begin with guided breathwork including intentional hyperventilation and breath holds to help access a state of calm, clarity, and embodied presence. Following this, Rob will lead a guided meditation informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, supporting participants in connecting with the emotions, stories, and wisdom held in the body and mind. Participants will leave with practical tools for self-regulation and insight that can be applied in daily life.

After months of illness and cold, the Earth doesn’t rush it’s transformation.
It says slow slowly, seeds crack open in the dark before they ever reach the light roots deepen before the bloom 🌷.
This is integration… the process of taking insights emotions and breakthroughs from your session and weaving them into daily life
Here’s how to use the season intentionally
🌱Get outside: natural light, regulated, serotonin, and supports neural plasticity the very process. Your brain is working through post session even 20 minutes of sunlight can shift your nervous system.
🌱Walk without your phone: let your mind wander some of your deepest post session insights will surface in the quiet
🌱Ground yourself: feel the Earth support you breathe in the spring air. What has changed?
🌱Journal outside: fresh air, and reflection
Drop a 🌱 in the comments if you’re ready to heal this season 🙏🏼
