We’re so excited to reopen this space for connection, and Jalisa can’t wait to welcome back the beautiful community that made these gatherings so special. To our familiar faces—we’ve missed you! And if you’re new, you’re so warmly invited in.

A Sister Circle is a small, guided gathering of women coming together in a supportive, safe environment to reflect and build meaningful community. FLOAT TIPS & TRICKS NO. 15: Individual versus Tandem Float—which is better?

While it’s true that Tandem Floats are amazing, and the real answer to this question varies person to person, duo to duo, here at Ripple (like most float centers!) we recommend starting strong with an individual Float Session! This will allow you to experience sensory deprivation how it was meant to be done—solo, serene, and in a space that’s all yours.

This will avoid disturbances from a guest who’s fidgeting more than you, or maybe even snoring! 😴 It’s best to have your very own solo Float Session first, and then work your way up to trying a Tandem Float if you’re curious.

We always advise to make sure you’re comfortable with your guest if you’re signing up for a Tandem Float! You want to be able to fully relax and settle into the experience without unease or discomfort.

FLOAT TIPS & TRICKS ARE BACK! 🤗

Picking up with FLOAT TIP NO. 14: What to BRING to your Float Session! ❓

It’s an easy answer—not much! We try to provide nearly everything our guests need: ear plugs, towels, soaps, makeup wipes, hair ties, contact lens cases and solution, ear rinse and Q-tips, lotion and blow dryers, complimentary tea and water. 🪷

We do suggest bringing the following, though, if you’d find it helpful:
⭐️ A comb or hairbrush
⭐️ A pair of flip-flops for the shower
⭐️ Either wear something comfortable to your appointment, or bring something comfortable to throw on after. No one wants to put on an uncomfortable outfit after all that relaxation!
⭐️ Any freshening up materials you need, like makeup or hair styling products.
