Jayvyn’s Journey LLC supports teens with autism & their families through fun recreation, social & life skills, peer interaction, sign language, parent training, family workshops, advocacy, and guidance toward early adult services.

I am looking to hire one part time AND one per diem caregiver who is available for before and after school care for my teenage son with special needs in West Haven.

✔️ Must Have experience with teens with Autism
✔️ Must have experience and comfortable with behavior intervention
✔️ Great personality, passionate, caring and patient
✔️ PMT or Assist Trained
✔️ Med Certified -preferred but not required
✔️ CPR and First Aid trained
✔️ Available Mon-Fri (for part time)
✔️ on call (per diem staff)
✔️Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

April is Autism Awarness Month! We would like to offer a SPECIAL to all businesses, organizations, agencies, parents, and caregivers. Do you have a business where you service people? Is there a chance a person with Autism can inquire your service or walk into your establishment? Yes! We are all about INCLUSION!! However, you must be able to communicate and deliver service in an appropriate and person centered approach. Please take advantage of our special that is running for the month of April only! Get your new and old staff together, your administration, your Human Resource department, etc book a FUN and ENGAGING Professional Development day! This is much needed in our communities. Attention all fire departments, police departments, parole and probation offices, Parents and Caregivers, you are the root of the foundation. A strong foundation amounts to great productivity with your loved one’s development and social skills. We are now booking for individual parent training sessions done in the comfort of your own home! We also offer an Introductory training on American Sign Language, booked separately. In order to take advantage of this opportunity, either service needs to be booked DURING the month of April!
