Wednesday, the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven was delighted to welcome a delegation from sister city, Afula. The group spent the afternoon touring our community—exploring the JCC campus, visiting BEKI, and taking in iconic New Haven landmarks including Yale University and the Beinecke Library.

The visit concluded with a meaningful dinner at The Towers, where the delegation met with both Jewish and non-Jewish community partners. The conversations were warm, engaging, and full of ideas for future collaboration.

At The Towers staff development is a continual priority. We are thrilled that members of our Support Services Team completed their initial DISH SOAP certification, which is our custom approach to non-clinical notetaking. This strengthens our ability to help support our residents and we are very proud of our team for achieving their certification.

LeadingAge, national older adult advocacy group, held its conference in Boston, with over 7,000 providers in attendance. Gustave Keach-Longo, President/CEO, and Jesse Wescott, VP, participated in this impactful gathering, which always leads to new ideas and partnerships. We are grateful for all that LeadingAge does to advance senior care.
