The connections made here at Parents’ Foundation truly matter, and each one helps strengthen our community in meaningful ways. We are proud of every relationship we build, which is why we’re excited to introduce our new Social Media Intern, Mia!

Mia is currently a student at Southern Connecticut State University and brings a passion for storytelling, creativity, and connection. She’ll be jumping in online by helping us expand our digital presence, sharing the voices and experiences that make our community so special, and spreading awareness about the work we do every day.

From highlighting resident stories to promoting upcoming initiatives and campaigns, Mia will play a key role in helping us reach new audiences and continue growing our impact.

Because every relationship matters, welcome to the team, Mia! 🩵💚

At Parents’ Foundation for Transitional Living, we know that life doesn’t always deal a perfect hand, but it’s what you do with it that matters most.

We’re excited to announce that we’re participating once again in The Great Give! This year, our theme “The Hand You’re Dealt” honors the resilience, strength, and growth of the individuals we serve every day.

For many in our community, the journey has included challenges like instability, hospitalizations, and uncertainty. But with the right support, structure, and sense of belonging, new paths forward are always possible.

This Great Give, we’re raising awareness and expanding access, so we can continue to support even more individuals on their journey toward healing, independence, and hope.

Stay tuned for ways to get involved, hear powerful stories, and help us make an even greater impact this year.

Because no matter the hand you’re dealt, you don’t have to play it alone.

Mental Reset Challenge

Try one small thing each day.

Small steps. Real support. Reset at your own pace.

At Parents’ Foundation, we believe healing isn’t something you rush; it’s something you nurture.

Growth happens through consistent care, community, and compassionate guidance.

You don’t have to reset alone. We’re here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

💙 What’s one small step you’re committing to today?

A little tea, a lot of connection ☕
It’s amazing to have so many wonderful spots just a short walk from us. Moments like these make it easy to slow down, connect, and enjoy our community right outside our door.

Shoutout to our talented resident for capturing these special moments so beautifully 📸
