New England springs really keep you on your toes; one day it feels like beach weather, and the next you’re pulling sweaters and boots back out of the closet.

We’ve been lucky to catch a few warm fronts lately, giving us more opportunities to spend time outside together. One of our favorites? An ice cream party right in our courtyard.

After the winter we’ve had, we’re all ready for sunshine, fresh air, and moments of connection like this. We’re looking forward to many more as the weather continues to warm up

Proud of the ARTA team members who made it out to the Partners in Treatment Conference in Arizona 🌵

While not everyone could attend, those who did showed up with heart, representing ARTA and the incredible programs that support so many unique mental health journeys.

Grateful for the opportunity to share, connect, and bring that knowledge back to our community.

In our community, support is rooted in trust, connection, and consistency.

In the spirit of giving and connection, we continue to embrace a simple but powerful truth: it’s not the hand you’re dealt, but how you choose to play it.

As part of The Great Give, we’re continuing to share meaningful glimpses into the journeys of our incredible residents, stories of resilience, self-discovery, growth, and strength. This campaign reflects more than giving; it reflects the importance of building rapport, trust, and a true sense of support within our community.

Here at Parents’ Foundation for Transitional Living, we work to ensure that our residents know we are here for them- always. That support is available at any moment they need it, and that they are never navigating their journey alone.

Hearing a community member share, “I utilize support when I'm feeling like I need it,” reflects something powerful. It speaks to the trust built over time, the understanding that support is present, and the confidence to reach for it when needed.

That foundation of connection is what allows healing to happen. It’s knowing someone has your back. It’s knowing you are seen, supported, and not alone.

Each story shared during The Great Give is a reminder that even in life’s most challenging moments, there is courage, healing, and hope.

We’re honored to walk alongside our residents as they continue to show up for themselves and their futures, one step, one choice, one hand at a time.

This Earth Day, we’re celebrating the beauty of our world and the creativity within our community. 🌍💚

This artwork, created by one of our talented residents during art therapy, is a reminder that healing and self-expression can grow in powerful ways when nurtured with care.

Just like the Earth, every journey is unique, evolving, and worthy of protection and support.

At Parents’ Foundation for Transitional Living, we’re proud to create space for creativity, connection, and growth, one step and one story at a time.

Parents’ Foundation is deeply rooted in both our local community and the community within our homes. Through opportunities like book drives, book clubs, and visits to local libraries, our residents are able to engage, connect, and grow in meaningful ways.

We see daily progress in big and small moments. Most recently, one resident shared:

“I like book club because it gives me an opportunity to read with other people in the house, and I don’t really read much.”

It’s these small but powerful pieces that come together to show the bigger picture of why today and every day, here at Parents’ Foundation.

Have you ever felt alone, truly alone, and wondered if anyone has ever experienced what you’re going through?

In the spirit of giving and connection, we continue to embrace a simple but powerful truth: it’s not the hand you’re dealt, but how you choose to play it.

Here at Parents’ Foundation for Transitional Living, our residents often arrive carrying that very feeling of isolation. What they discover over time is something powerful, community, belonging, and the ability to connect with others who truly understand them.

As our countdown continues, we’re sharing meaningful glimpses into the journeys of our incredible residents, stories of resilience, creativity, growth, and strength. We’re also highlighting heartfelt testimonials in their own words, sharing how Parents’ Foundation has supported them, what they’ve discovered about themselves along the way, and the moments, activities, and connections they’ve come to truly enjoy.

One resident shared: “I’ve been here for two years and really feel a good sense of camaraderie.”

Each story is a reminder that even in life’s most challenging moments, there is courage, healing, and hope.

We’re honored to walk alongside them and celebrate the ways they continue to show up for themselves and their futures, one step, one choice, one hand at a time.

Hello everyone! Social Media Intern Mia here!

I wanted to share some reflections from my first week at Parents' Foundation. From the moment I arrived, I noticed how kind, warm, and welcoming both the staff and residents are. It quickly became clear that I would be able to learn a lot here with thoughtful support along the way.

To better understand the day-to-day life and programs at Parents’ Foundation, and to represent them accurately, I decided to join a yoga session led by our amazing staff member, May. Experiencing the session firsthand gave me insight into how our residents connect, support each other, and practice personal growth in a compassionate environment. Residents encouraged one another, shared tips to better themselves and others, and offered genuine reinforcement, all met with careful attention and guidance from May throughout the session.

This experience helped me understand why programs like this are so meaningful. They foster connection, mutual support, and a sense of belonging, which are central to the community at Parents’ Foundation. Being part of these activities not only helps me learn but also allows me to share authentic stories that reflect the true heart of our programs.
