A nonprofit innovating mental health care for children and families in Connecticut since 1913.

Mental health and support services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. We are a nationally recognized provider of trauma-informed mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. We serve as the safety net for children and families in the greater New Haven area who cannot afford or gain access to private mental health care. Our whole-family, trauma-informed, integrated model of care is designed to reduce chronic stress and build healthy and supportive connections. The children and families we serve are incredibly resilient, and we believe every individual deserves compassionate and individualized care that improves their health, resiliency, and quality of life. We accept Medicaid (HUSKY) as well as several commercial health insurance providers.

This year, the need for basic care items and holiday support was the greatest we’ve ever seen—and because of you, we rose to meet it.

Not one family was turned away from a Thanksgiving meal. No young person went without a warm coat. Every family who asked for help with holiday gifts received it.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us preserve dignity while creating moments of joy and connection for the families we serve. Both are essential to healing, and Operation Happy Holidays would not have been possible without your generosity.
