Today we wear red for a reason that matters. ๐Ÿ’—

Go Red for Women Day reminds us that heart disease is the #1 killer of womenโ€”but itโ€™s also largely preventable. Whether itโ€™s scheduling that checkup youโ€™ve been putting off, moving your body today, or simply checking in on the women in your life, small actions create real change.

Wear red. Spread awareness. Take care of your heart.

On this day of remembrance, we honor the life and legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. As his tireless dedication to fighting injustice and promoting equality continues to inspire generations, it is important to recognize his impact in all areas, including healthcare.

Dr. King recognized that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental human right, and he worked to ensure that all people had equal and equitable access to medical care. Today, we continue his fight to address disparities so that quality care isn't just a dream but a reality for all.

Our offices will be closed on Monday, January 19th.

๐Ÿ’š In New Haven we have many
opportunities for you to check your blood pressure with Pressure Check! Join us this January to learn more about blood pressure and what it means for you.

๐Ÿ’™ Pressure Check is a research program aiming to address health inequities in hypertension (high blood pressure). At these screenings, a health advocate will measure your blood pressure 3 times. If it is in the high blood pressure range, you may be eligible to enroll. Learn more at our website linked in our bio, or by heading to pressurecheck.org

Happy Three Kings Day! ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

In many cultures, this day marks the true end of the Christmas seasonโ€”a time for gathering with loved ones, sharing rosca de reyes, and remembering that the greatest gifts we can offer are our presence, generosity, and love.

However you observe this day, may it bring you joy and connection.
