We’re excited to announce that we have started remote counseling, starting Monday, April 6th at 8pm EDT. Our hours will remain 8pm-8am EDT, every day until April 24th at 8am, at which point we will close for the academic year.

We are working hard to be able to be here for the Yale community, but want to be transparent about the fact that there might be instances where we cannot provide the service we do on campus. With many campus resources either shut down or inaccessible to students off-campus, our ability to make referrals is now limited. As always, we will try our hardest to connect you with the best resources available. This is also the first time Walden will be counseling from different phones. and we will be expecting some logistical difficulties.

Being a Walden counselor is a big responsibility. Counseling requires a significant time commitment, and it can be unpredictable and stressful at times. However, most counselors find that being a part of Walden is very rewarding, for several reasons:
