Homestead is proud to team up with LakeHouse New Holstein to support our neighbors in need. We’ll be collecting non-perishable food items through Nov. 22.

Suggested donation items include:

🥫 Soups, vegetables, and canned fruits
🐟 Tuna and chicken
🥜 Peanut butter and jelly
🥣 Cereal, oatmeal, rice, and pasta
🍽️ Boxed meals and snacks
🧃 Juice boxes and other non-perishables

The donation box is at the entrance to the center. All donations will help local families in the Kiel, New Holstein, and Chilton areas.

Congrats to Social Services Coordinator Paula for being named our "Spotlight Employee" for November. Nominated by her peers, she has been an integral part of our team for around nine months.

She was selected for his honor for many reasons, including:

- "Helping residents with their concerns, providing distraction, and taking time to simply sit with them.”
- “Always going above and beyond, helping move residents and doing individual activities with those who need extra attention. She’s so thoughtful.”
- One resident expressed their gratitude, saying, “Thanks for all of your help, all of the time. I really appreciate the extra assistance and everything you do.”

Executive Director Tricia shared the importance of Paula's role and dedication it takes to fulfull her duties.

“Having formerly worked in Social Services myself, I want to express my appreciation for Paula’s willingness to learn and grow in her role," she said. "I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to mentor you and have truly enjoyed watching you flourish over the past few months. You are such a valuable asset to our team and family here at Homestead Health."
