excited for this is an understatement.
a quick story 🤍
a few years ago, when i was first stepping into birthwork, i taught “childbirth education” to first-time parents.
it didn’t take long before that class started to feel… empty.
because while i was teaching positions + stages,
i was witnessing birth.
i was holding women through postpartum.
i was watching what actually unraveled after the baby arrived.
and i realized something:
information alone doesn’t prepare you.
knowledge without nervous system support doesn’t hold you.
+ birth doesn’t end when the baby is born.
what mothers needed wasn’t more facts —
they needed context + containment.
they needed to be held, not just taught.
that realization quietly changed everything.
