Providing affordable and accessible healthcare to the underserved student population of Southeastern Madison County.

The NHCC is a non-profit school based health clinic (SBHC) that provides affordable medical care to kids of Southeastern Madison County who might otherwise go without. SBHCs provide critical services without concern for students' ability to pay in a location that meets young people where they are - at school.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team on a PRN basis (as needed). As the “face” of our clinic, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience by managing the front desk with efficiency and warmth.

Prior experience in medical office is preferred but not required.

Proficiency with basic computer software and the ability to quickly learn our EMR system is required.

Hours include one Friday per month (7:45 a.m. to 12:15 pm), plus being available to replace our Full Time Receptionist if she is sick, absent, on vacation, etc. Flexible availability is a must.

Tasks include greeting visitors, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out as well as performing administrative duties.
