We are so thankful for The Care Center! Don’t think twice about reaching out if you need help…

With news of the government shutdown, we know many in our community may be feeling uncertain, especially those affected by furloughs or temporary changes in SNAP, WIC, and other benefits.

At The CARE Center, we want you to know this: you’re not alone. Our doors are open, and we are here to serve our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and respect. Right now, 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, and we’re thankful that so many in our community are standing strong and persevering during these hard times.

Our food pantry will be open this Saturday (11/8) and every Monday from 9 AM-12 PM for anyone in our service areas needing assistance.

From lively tables to friendly competition and a few lucky winners, Mahjong Mingle on the Farm was full of laughter and connection!

Guests enjoyed a day of instruction and tournament play led by Anna Ford of Wanna Mahj?, along with raffles for beautiful tile sets.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success. Every tile played makes a difference for our patients!

What an incredible day! 🩷 Our Mahjong Mingle on the Farm brought friends together for fun, fellowship, and fundraising to support the mission of the New Hope Children’s Clinic.

Because of your generosity, we raised nearly $14,000 to help provide quality medical care for children in our community.

As the weather cools down, it’s the perfect time to focus on family wellness and prevention. A few small steps can help keep everyone healthy through the season:

🍂 Get your flu shot. It’s the best way to protect your family and those around you.
🍎 Keep up with healthy habits. Encourage handwashing, plenty of sleep, and balanced meals packed with fruits and veggies.
🧣 Dress for the weather. Fall mornings can be chilly — layers help kids stay comfortable and healthy.
💧 Stay hydrated. Cooler temps can be deceiving, but kids still need water throughout the day.
