This week we welcomed some very special visitors to North Ridge Health and Rehab. Baby goats and a four-year-old-bunny!

For many, the visit brought back memories of growing up on farms, caring for animals, or having beloved pets. As you can see in the photos the event sparked lots of smiles, laughter, and great conversations.

Residents ranked the visit 10/10 and would love to have them back!

A big thank you to Goat Shine for bringing such a joyful experience to our facility.

A day late, so let’s pretend February had 29 days this year because we clearly needed an extra day! February was Black History Month. We honor the history, resilience, achievements, and lasting contributions of Black communities around the world. We celebrate the culture, leadership, innovation, and strength that continue to shape our society every day. We honor the past while inspiring the future.
At North Ridge, we are fortunate to have staff from all over the world. Their contributions make a real difference, and we are truly grateful for all that they do for our residents each day.
We made a heart with a flag from each of the 54 African countries and here are just a few of our amazing staff.

Last week, all of our residents at North Ridge Health & Rehab received handmade Valentine’s Day cards from the thoughtful students at St. Francis Middle School.

The cards truly brightened their day, and we are so grateful for the time and care that went into each one.

Thank you to the students and staff for thinking of our residents and sharing such meaningful kindness. ❤️

One of the highlights to end our holiday celebration was a vibrant community event that brought everyone together Connected in Rhythm, featuring the incredible live entertainment musicians Didi & Mia Dorr!

Throughout the holiday season, our residents and staff participated in various festivities, including a Christmas door contest, cookie decorating, Santa visits, gift giving, and holiday celebrations. We wish y’all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday!

Christmas gift giving is a highlight of the season! This year, our community rallied together to contribute and donate gifts, resulting in a special holiday. We appreciate the efforts of all involved. The church community, services, childcare, HomeInstead, families, managers, and staff who donated gifts to our residents, making this Christmas memorable! 🎁
