During Black History Month let’s remember Marsha P. Johnson.

She was was an activist, drag performer and a central figure in the LGBTQ+ liberation movement. She fought openly for racial justice, poor and unhoused people, s*x workers and incarcerated communities.

Honouring Marsha also means facing the reality today: Black trans women continue to face levels of violence, murder and su***de because of racism, transphobia and systemic neglect.

Celebrate the legacy & protect the people still living it ❤️‍🩹
